I recorded the first day of the auction on our DVR. I didn't see a 2013-14 GT500 anywhere in the lots posted. I rarely do, and I enjoy watching Barrett-Jackson and Mecum. That being said, at the end of the day, yesterday, and Ingot Silver 2012 GT500 came across the stand and it had 42,000 miles on the odometer. It still sold for $30,000. Pretty good amount for a 42K mileage GT500. There was a black 2014 GT500 in KC Mecum auction last year. Never saw what it sold for, or if it sold. I did notice that it had a salvage title, so it had some kind of problem, but looked good. I just do not see these cars - the '13-14s, at the auctions. What gives?

Mechum and Barret Jackson cater to clientele that buy classic cars and exotics. A late model GT500 hasn’t reached collector car status. There are plenty late model GT500s on Autotrader.

Well, then there's that!
"There i was, twisting my knobs & slapping my paddles." Don't sound to sexy to me...
And a Top Speed of 180 mph because your hood could fly off. Problem solved!

Ford had ( 6 ) MY's, and @ the end of all that " engineering ", hood latches on a 180 mph car is their best effort ?
SAD..
Let's not forget the automatic tranny with a shift knob, a ridiculous looking wing, and ADMs to match... taking the price of rice to a whole 'nutha level. :p

Learned more about the 2020 in the 13/14 section than the section specifically for the new GT500.

Conclusion? It really suxs.
The 2020 doesn’t suck. It just doesn’t appeal to me as much as a 13/14. Lots of power and a nice interior on the new car. Dislikes: black wheels, auto trans, huge fish mouth grill, and an overall “rice” look to the car. Too Euro or rice for me. Glad my ‘13 only has 12K miles on her. She will, God willing, be around a long time.

The 13 14 Shelby’s are staying strong!

Sums it up perfectly for me.

The 350 overall looks much better in appearance.

Love the look of the 2020 GT500. But if I am going to get rid of my 2017 loaded Challenger Hellcat, it will be for a manual transmission.
