I've had my 07 GMC 2500HD SLT LBZ crew cab since new. Everyone was telling me that maintenance was going to kill me. Only issue I've had was #7 glowplug needed replacing=$170.00 & 2 batteries. Truck only has 98,000 miles.

Damn, that's nothing for miles and a lot of sitting lol. Our 03 6.0 Gas is nearing 200K.

Last I hear about the earlier trucks were the injectors being the issue and $$$

I’ve read people were spending like 5-7k deleting the DEF on their trucks. Forget that.

The L5P Duramax costs about that much since we have to first purchase an unlocked ECM and TCM, MPVI2 interface, and licensing credits before you even get to the tuning/hardware changes.

If you think thats expensive, just pay to replace some of the emissions systems a few times on the truck. There is a reason why emergency services (EMT, police, and fire) choose to remove them on vehicles as well. The cost to perform this service will only continue to go up as the trucks ecm/tcm and can bus networks continue to get more complicated. Theres over 1000 hours alone in writing code for the new duramax (done the right way)
