Personally I am clearing out some of my swing positions and freeing up cash. With the exception of a couple long plays that shouldn’t be affected to much, I want to be mostly liquid come election time. I feel it’s gonna be a rocky couple weeks no matter the outcome.
Yeah I’m going to throw my TSP funds into G this week.

I hear you and agree. My portfolio post March has been extremely diversified by sector and within sector. I made a fairly significant move into oil before covid based on other things happening to me. Just never imagined the Saudi/Russian/covid triangle of oil death. I only have the strongest companies left and consolidation shitshow effect on values and dividends is rediculous to try and figure out.

I did price average some of my real estate REITS to really good effect. I think there is some good capital gains tied to good dividends on my remaining oil stocks, but the election could buggar it up. Waiting to see if Trump wins lets the big boys beat you to the punch by a mile.

I doubled down on my oil stocks this morning. VLO CVX and OXY have all been hammered lately so I threw some money at them in addition to what I bought 2 weeks ago.

Oil will be ugly until at least the election. If Biden wins, it will get really ugly.

Today was a bloodbath. I knew it was coming but was hoping it wouldn’t be here until Friday. Surprisingly after the initial morning sell off most of my stuff held up ok averaging about 2-5% losses. Have some call options that got hammered though, luckily there is still time for them to rebound.

Yeah, I cost averaged my oil stocks. Decided that I was close enough to the bottom.

The Saudi's and Russian may regret their little price war. Necessity is the mother of invention.

This was extracted from a quarterly report I was reading. They obviously don't say how efficient they have gotten or what the break even price per barrel of oil or cubic foot of gas is, but it is lower.

"
Shneur Gershuni

Okay. And then maybe it's a follow-up question one of your peers yesterday sort of was talking about Williston in general that the producers are becoming significantly more efficient, more stages per frac, longer laterals and so forth and sort of intimated [indiscernible] are going to continue to go up and maybe even faster than they had previously. Is that something that you're hearing from your customers as well too? Is that something that you're seeing as well also?

Chuck Kelley

Yes. This is Chuck. We are seeing that from our producers, I think we mentioned on last call lateral lengths we're seeing pushing out to the three mile level. We're also seeing increased frac stages. So we're seeing greater production efficiencies and of course the GORs continue to rise in the basin so when you look at those three components it's all painting a pretty good picture for these new wells coming online.

Terry Spencer

And Chuck that the bottom line to that is that break-even costs continue to come down significantly.

Chuck Kelley

That's correct."

Not at all. It was $340/share in Feb. Look at the 5 year chart. 2019 was a down year for semiconductor equipment. We just started a multi year upswing. It's going north of $400. Right now it's at about $275.

Well, my dog just ran up $10k in radiology bills. Sold some shares at $400.

Cute pup. Hope everything is ok.

Thanks. He's got prostate cancer, which is incurable. The $10k buys him 4 to 6 months. I made a deal with him when I got him from the shelter- the day that pic was taken 7 years ago. He takes it for the team in the event of an intruder or mountain lion, and I take good care of him.

Welp. I'm back in oil stocks as of last week. Still very long on LRCX. Also part owner of a Mexican copper mining company LOL. SCCO. A lot of electric cars means a LOT of heavy copper cables to channel those electrons.

Dumped most of my oil stocks this morning.

I looked smart today. Markets like divided government and covid vaccine. I'm gonna ride my oil pony into next year.

Anyone with some insight in PENN?
I bought some when they were under $37, they are now hovering around $65.
Should I hold out to see how the Pfizer news turns out, and maybe see 1 more big jump with PENN?

BYDDY as well. Paid $15, and they are up to $47.
Sell or hold?
