The reason the 13/14's are up in price is the same reason 2007-2012 500's are up in price.... same can be said for 1996 Chevy trucks and every other auto on the market right now.

2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Coupe 2D coupe Black - FINANCE ONLINE...

08 GT500 - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

2012 Shelby Cobra GT500 - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle...

The supply chain is broken driving up demand all over the country.

The demand for used cars is up?

Aren’t the verts governed to not go above 150-160 mph? Coupes are not limited, so it seems to me that would be a factor. Either one would be great, but like the ‘67-‘68 GT500s, that won’t matter much.
Mine doesn’t need to go 35 mph because I never drive it.. ;)

I’ll never understand owning something you don’t drive... I’m actually kinda embarrassed my Shelby only has 24k on the clock.
I don’t understand either But it’s just what I do

A lot, if not all dealerships around here have nothing in the used fleet for sale. F250s....cant find used anywhere around here. Gotta go out to farm country to find it

Not trying to take anything away from the trinity but all used car prices are up at the moment.

You've been watching somebody's "look at how much I love me" videos, haven't you? :p
"And in this painstakingly long video I'll shove more ME down your throats" whether anyone views it or not!
Really I'm a good guy! Really I'm just a normal car guy! I don't actually have personality/mental issues! Please, just believe me...!! JFC!

Yup.

Inflation, low interest rates and the people buying this stuff are still employed...

Only now they can't spend their money on movies, vacations, travel, bars, eating out, events, etc.

Just refinanced and now you have an extra $500/m?

Take on a new car payment, who cares if you spent another $5k on a GT500. Economy will crash or you'll die from Commie Cough soon enough.

Used car prices bieng up somewhat screwed me- wife got hit and run’ed by a Silverado in her little compact car, damn thing was worth 5k awhile back so we were sure it was a total. 3.2k damages amd not even close. They’re selling for 10k+ with bad Carfax. It’s nuts.

Wife’s sonic is waaay up there in price. I’m considering selling my truck too since wife got a Tiguan with crazy VW warranty plus an extra few years- things warrantied til like 2028. I mean I’m sure the market will come back down soon enough anyway

Prob is a good time to sell but then what?

Thats the issue, nothing that really excites me to buy in its place. Maybe a 350 but those prices are high also. Assume over the winter prices will fall to more reasonable levels.

I can see where you’re coming from, but to me that’s an excuse to mod it a bit more. Keeps it exciting and the stock motor can take 800rwhp pretty safely.
I will admit I prefer the S550 as a daily and IRS comfort, but that’s not what I have my 500 for. It’s built to scare me in all the good ways. :)
