The 2pc rotor makes a big difference.
I'm very happy with my 14" brembo GT kit (same kit ftbr sells except it has brembo rotors instead of girodiscs). I found it for a price I couldn't pass up. Night and day over my 13" baer 6p kit with 2pc rotors
High speed braking is very controlled and zero fade after multiple big stops. Very solid set up, plus they look the part behind my ccw sp500s :)
Pads and fluid also make a big difference so don't skimp there.
You should be happy with your new set up once broken in properly
Awesome! I've really wanted to do this upgrade for awhile. Looks like my kit is on backorder for a few weeks. Not sure if I'll get them installed before it's time to put the car away for winter storage. Man I don't even want to think of that already...

Do you have a picture of the brake set up. You have the 4 piston gt 14inch? Looking at the price tag and its like 3400 bucks. Is this the kit you have?

Kit on the car, and comparisons between the old baer 13" 6p kit and the 14" brembo kit. Cant say enough about the brembo set up. Big $$$ but probably the best kit out there
And yes I had them powdercoated red before installing. Don't want to confuse anyone.

They are quite a bit bigger....
I have seen that picture before.

I can't decide if I want to spend that much but my wheels were cut for the 14 inch 6 piston gt brembos

How is finding parts replacement disk and pads for them?

Its a few hundred more for the 6 piston so I might do those. They also make the gts caliper I have been looking at.

The other brakes im interested in are stoptech trophy series

I'm dealing with Wilwood now. This is the second set of calipers that appear to have smudges that don't wipe off. Some have mentioned a light polish will fix it.

Waiting to hear back from Wilwood.

Well I'll never recommend Wilwood to anyone. They are willing to NOT charge me a restocking fee. But I have to pay for the shipping back because they don't consider their product defective! They claim the powder coating on calipers is standard.

So I get nothing but have to pay to return a 50lb box...

I have been looking around and it seems like bear is a better option as the have dust seals and wilwood does not.
I'm still interested in brembos

Wow, Brady, that really sucks that Wilwood considers those smudges "normal". Those that you have look like they're 10 years old, finish wise.

I know they're more expensive, but the Brembo kit already mentioned is superior. I had one of their F40 4-piston kits on my old Callaway Camaro, with slotted/drilled rotors. I paid around $3200 for them back then but man were they good. Great looking. Great performance.

I'm now looking into Baer brake kit. Looking at this finish called modern bronze.

Yeah, I guess my expectations are too high lol. I'll eat the shipping cost and shop around. Looking at some 6 piston Baers.

Here is the finish I'm looking at. I think it should look good.

I bought the 14” trophy’s last year from buybrakes.com on their Black Friday sale for $2400. Well worth it! I asked for the low dust pads. A little less bite but I don’t have to wipe down the wheels every time I get out of the car. And they work great in slowing the car down from 150 to 65

Why not go with the 6s caliper.....? Ur care has 700rwhp + right?
its 1000 more. Lethal has a 15 percent off around Xmas usually.

I have a email out to baer trying to find out the main differences.
That will look great! Baer does make a great product, I just chose stoptech because they were $1k-$1500 cheaper than the baers I was looking at
