Just wondering what the Highest HP has been on a VMP 2.3 blower with a stock 8.5:1 motor?

I have tuned tons of these combos and had a couple stand out. One stood out way above the rest and even had the track numbers/engine data to back it up.

I believe the old Terminator HP spread sheet had this for top VMP:
SYMach1 TVS Gen 1 736 721 20 17 E85 3 4lb JLT RAI stock/mafia GT500 Kooks 1 3/4 lt O/R x 3" Jon Lund

My car should be a decent number for 93.
670hp and 654tq (std #) 20.4 lbs boost 93 and Torco
VMP 2.3 gen2 supercharger w/GT500 throttle body
3.0 upper pulley/Metco 4lb lower

SYMach1 always did put out very strong numbers, but I recall TimsPony beating his by a lot. Tim's Pony had such high numbers that I personally felt they weren't accurate. I don't recall exactly, but it was over 750RWHP and very close to 700RWTQ. I can't remember if he had track numbers to back it up, but those are the highest I recall next to SYMach1. Both have stock motors.

I have nothing worthwhile to add.
I am just super interested in this thread and also want to see "normal" car dyno information with the TVS (esp 91 octane).

I have a 2.3 TVS and GT500TB in my garage that ill put on early summer!!

Hey 04sleeper, I’m currently building my motor with 9:1 comp and will be running a Vmp 2.3 gen2, was wondering what’s the best way to get into contact with you for tuning, hope to have it all ready for tuning by the summer.

I'll just say one car has made well north of 800 RWHP. Anyone in that range with a 2.3?
Interesting. I don't take to much from dyno numbers. They read all over the place. Same combos can be 70 rwhp difference from one car to another. But you know my feelings on them.

But if the car has the et/mph to back up the dyno numbers!

Yep. It had the ET/MPH and data. Had to up the fuel pressure on ID1300's and ran out of MAF on a Crusher Intake.

Is it a ported 2.3?
I think Soap and SVTtroy have the highest performing stock motor 2.3's I've seen.
Yep. It's ported.

Thanks for the words! I haven't been on the dyno but based on ET/MPH calculators I should be in the 800-825 RWHP range. Bone stock engine with head studs.

Troy's setup is on point. I need to get me some heads and cams like he does!!

Okay. I have tuned a few higher than what's posted so far.

Here is one I did 2 years ago that made more than the one posted.

Keep them coming.

That is my car now. It’s no Joke! JP did a great job building it and the tune is well done.

Not sure what the port is worth. I haven't seen much results on that by itself.

Whoa! That's insane, Kevin!

Delivering the goods right there!
For sure Jeff. This car is silly! Set up right. (He's on SVTP BTW) Hasn't chimed in yet though.

J.P's car was a beast! He ran mid 10's on 91 before ever turning it up.
