Not sure if u guys follow Adam. Dude is as American as Trump! But here is an example of a FELON turned successful and being White had nothing to do with it! Hard work and dedication is what separates us from them!

My father was a CEO at National Car Rental and interviewed and promoted countless ppl over his career.

His education was middle school cause his father died at 12 so he had to support his mother and sister so he had to find a shitty job. He said that he would often ask this question when interviewing ppl for high dollar positions. This was the question....

How would u define success? He said the best answer any interviewee gave was really simple and to the point and 100% correct he said. This was the answer.

"When preparation meets opportunity". He said he hired the guy right on the spot and said he was also one of the best workers he ever hired as well. That aint got nothing to do with ur skin color!

Goggle/youtube has put me on a notification everytime he post something. I first was aware of his music through music channel subscriptions He needs to curse less even in some of his music. Other then that he's a typical redneck with a voice and humor.

"Successful from unsuccessful" is the implication I took from
"hard work and preparation is what separates us from them"...

I can see that, and that’s what I’m going with now. Thank you. Obviously my initial reaction was way tf off. LOL

White Privilege still makes me lol literally. My sister and I grew up in the same household with the same wealthy parents in the same upper middle class neighborhood. Im still wondering where her "White Privilege" is cause we grew up in a very small town with ZERO crime and everyone graduated HS.

Well, I went on to LE and she went on to be a Drug Dealer who served clients from New York to New Hampshire and was arrested by the DEA. Still wondering where her "White Privilege" is.

Its all about ur choices in life and she is a prime example of how being "White" or "Black" has nothing to do with being arrested by the DEA. But if she was "Black" ppl would say...... Its because she is black! No, its because she is a criminal!

This is a topic that really gets me. I grew up with nothing in the beginning, watched my parents continually work their asses off to improve things and gave my brother and I an upbringing that we are forever grateful. We didn’t have a ton at any time compared to most in the area, but I now see how much they sacrificed to give us as much as possible. I really feel kinda guilty to be honest.

So instead of being a POS kid that thinks they’re owed everything, i tell my parents thanks often. They’re both better people than i, but i work to be like them every day...amazing role models.

All that said, at my current job (been at this nursing home for over a decade) we have had continual accusations of getting hired in therapy “because we are white”. Some of these folks actually think you could just ask for an application and bam...you’re no longer a CNA, you’re a physical therapist!

I tried funneling a great CNA towards nursing or PTA/COTA school because of her exceptional compassion towards her patients...once the thought of taking out loans that could be up to 30-40k were mentioned...hard no. How can anyone not do that math on how much you’d get paid the REST OF YOUR WORKING CAREER to offset and more than pay for those loans? Some people just don’t even try, and it’s no one’s fault but they’re own.

This mindset of settling is disturbing to me, i had a 13y/o WF answer me “i guess draw a check” when i asked what she wanted to do when she grew up...13!!! Still haunts me to this day, that girl could’ve done anything she wanted.

White privilege has nothing to do with how hard you work to achieve what you have. It has to do with the opportunities you've been given to achieve those things because of the color of your skin. This is what is being alleged. You were "given" the opportunity to work hard to achieve, you were "given" the opportunity to go to high school, you were "given" the opportunity to grow up middle class, or even poor. All allegations that MAY have been true 60+ years ago. Now, we ALL have the same rights, so, exercise them.

In the 21st century, the white, conservative, Christian male is a pariah. They are now actually having opportunities and rights stripped without due process (ever heard of cancel culture?). Anyone aligned with their beliefs will be stripped of their rights and opportunities with no mercy.

At work last week me and a fellow co-worker, (black guy), proposed to me that "I have white privilege"

He used being pulled over for traffic violations and having to go to appear in court and looking around to see the ratio of blacks to whites waiting to be seen by the judge. Says more blacks than whites by a long shot. I roll my eyes, maybe he is right, maybe wrong, but it's Georgia so......

He asks me how many times have I been pulled over? I say several, but I get warnings and have not been to court since 1997 for a traffic ticket. He blames being white is the reason.

No, it's probably because I am overall a good driver, but more importantly, I have had either a Active Army or Retired Army plate on all my cars for the last 25 years. And I would attribute MY Service to the nation for my breaks with law enforcement. (California, 98 in a 75 with my Terminator)

Hispanic guy within ear shot says, "Ya, he's right. I don't have issues either with my Retired Military plates. Always been warnings and please slow down."

I didn't have socio-economic privilege growing up either.
The world is so skewwwed today.

I don't think its white privilege, its family privilege. I grew up in a poor but stable, loving home, with parents that struggled, but worked to better us. I truly believe a stable family structure is one of the most important contributors to a child's success. The liberal policies that have been put in place that help destroy minority families in urban settings has to be blamed on something other than poor policy, so white privilege was created. I can say with certainty that there are structural rules in place today that allow a minority child to get into colleges that my kids wouldn't stand a chance of being accepted to. Business contracts that you HAVE to be minority to even bid on. Every time I hear white privilege, I think poor liberal policy.

"White Privilege" and "Systemic Racism" are nothing more than the latest far left hipster agenda to try and justify their lack of success in a fair system. Instead of taking responsibility for their shortcomings they want to blame it on everyone who is white and more successful. If anything, its now the opposite. A poor black person can get certain handouts that a white person cannot qualify for (especially when it comes to college scholarships, business loans/grants). All affirmative action is racism within itself. I understand when it was initially implemented in the 60's it made more sense but its now the year 2020. Work hard instead of making excuses for your lack of success in this country. Millions of jews were massacred however I don't hear them crying about "equality". It shouldn't matter if you are white, black, gay, straight, blue smurf, everyone should get treated the same.

It is not a fair system. Shit is rigged against the whoo ‘aights.

No reason for “minorities” to have advantages solely because of their skin color or ethnicity. **** that.
