You think that's bad? I just re-upped my dog's meds for 4 weeks @ $400+. Poor guy has prostate cancer. I dropped about $10k so far, maybe $11k including his radiation treatment. With any luck, I'll get another 4-5 months with him.

Damn! We bought two 4 month old female Beagle puppies a few weeks ago and they both ended up getting Parvo after we took them out in the neighborhood. The seller told us they had received Parvo shots. However we now realize the shots have to be given multiple times spread out every 3 weeks. Fortunately they both survived and are doing great! They've had a bunch of vaccinations now and will go back in a few weeks for another round. The whole thing cost us thousands of dollars. Not quite as much as yours but it is still an expensive lesson we learned!

Good luck with your dog. Have you tried B17 (Amygdalin)? It converts to cyanide in the stomach and apparently it attacks cancer cells. What have you got to lose? I take 100 mg B17 every morning. You'll want to use a smaller dose for your dog. Good luck with him!

I guess our plan was not that bad. I did however change it to ATT UNLIMITED AND MORE PREMIUM PLAN.

This is what we get:

$125 per month (3 phones) for the first 2 months
$110 per month (3 phones) after the first 2 months

22 GB data per device
10 GB hotspot per device

So that's a $40 saving per month over the unlimited plan. I've worked from home for over 10 years and my wife is also working from home now. So we are on wifi most of the time. Last month we barely used 2 GB. The other line is for my father-in law and he is also on wifi most of the time. 22 GB should be more than enough for each phone. And 22 GB per month should hold up for days when I travel and using cellular data. Or if our home internet goes down for a day or two.

Verizon- $53/month w/ 2gig data.......I am not quite sure what the "data" means but all of my internet is through the wifi at the house. I "think" my car has a "hot spot" but CobraBob could say for sure..
We had a 3 gb shared data plan prior to switching to unlimited. If I traveled anywhere for a few days I quickly maxed out the data using Waze, occasional web browsing, youtube, playing Pandora while driving etc. 2 or 3 GB data is a joke if you're on the road away from wifi. If your car has a hotspot that will help - but it depends how much data you get. However you're paying for that hotspot on a monthly basis just like any other cellular data service.

Xfinity, two phones with unlimited text, talk and 1 of shared data. I think it's about $35 a month. We always have wifi, that's why only 1 gig.
Is your home wifi through Comcast/Xfinity? If so, check that utilization per month. I read an article a few days ago stating Comcast will be charging users $10/50GB who go over 1.2 TB of data per month, capped at $100/Month. 1.2TB per month is nothing if the entire house is streaming their TV, on iPads, phones, etc.

Yeah, and we never get close to our limit usage.

Tmobs
2 lines, unlimited talk/text
2gb/phone (mostly use wifi)
2 phone payments + insurance + upgrade plan
Hotspot up to 10gb (which we never use, I didn't even know we had this until I looked at plan)
~200/month

With tmobs we both get free mlb tv subscription and 10c/gal off at Shell (up to 20gal) every week. There are other things we get deals on every Tuesday but these are the ones we use regularly

Wife and I used to pay what sounds like a pretty average $55/mo each.

A few months ago our internet provider came out with a deal to quickly gain market share when they entered the mobile market. It worked!

We now pay a total of $10 + .50 tax every 90 days. That's C$ and 90 days, so after converting that's around US$2.50/mo.

I know that sounds too good to be true so of course there's a catch. After two years when the initial deal expires it will be jacked up to US$9.75/mo.

Hi guys,

How much are you paying for your mobile phone plans? I've been on an unlimited data w/ unlimited hotspot w/ ATT for 3 devices for $150 (excluding devices). So $50 per month per device. Does this sound reasonable? I am on the phone with them now to see what other options they have.
I’m spending under $40/month with Talk Free Wireless.

Just made me cry.... went through similar situation with my dog and would of given anything for him to get better.

Hope the best for him.
Yeah, we have an aging dog with arthritis. I’m about to dig a hole and go Old Yeller on her. It’ll tear me up, but I can’t spend thousands on her.

Im sorry for your boy having to go through this. I hope you get every single day, if not more.

Thanks! I'm lucky to work from home, so we've been together all day every day since March.

What a pretty dog!

Always tough losing them man.

Thanks! He's a great dog. His worst fear is losing sight of me. Every time I think I've lost him he's sitting quietly right behind me. He's only 8, so I'm literally buying time for him.

Thanks! I'm just thankful that radiation was an option. In early Oct I had an appt to put him to sleep. He woke up that morning, peed, and said, "not ready to go." He hadn't peed on his own in a week. Three days later he got his first of four radiation treatments.

Dang, sorry to hear about the pups. No, I'm going with what the vet oncologist is prescribing. Currently he's on Rimadyl, Cerenia, and Prazosin. Prostate cancer is not curable, at least in dogs. The radiation just shrunk the tumor, and the anti-inflammatory Rimadyl actually has some anti-cancer cell properties.

I made a deal with him a long time ago. He takes it for the team in the event of an intruder or mountain lion, and I take good care of him.

BTW- I pay the money for the cell phone and it doesn't even work from my house, since I live in the sticks. Same issue as no internet service here. But I get to live in a gorgeous area very close to silicon valley on a couple acres with 75 oak trees and only one close neighbor.

Xfinity mobile, about 100 with taxes and fees for two lines, unlimited everything. Plus, the cell service is great since they use Verizon towers.

Op that doesn’t sound bad

I’m using Straight talk month to month. I’ll never sign a contract with any provider of phone, Internet, or cable again

$35 a month but only comes with 5gb of lte. Drops to 3g but you can buy 2gb for $5.

No hotspot though.

Xfinity here, have WiFi at home and work so I leave it on the 10 gig plan for the 3 of us. Average about 5-6 gigs a month unless vacation or something and then I switch to unlimited for the month. $66 for all 3 lines.
