I picked up this Terminator several weeks ago and the prior owner did the exhaust. It has a Magnaflow catted X pipe and he said that the catback is a mix of, a Magnaflow catback, black Magnaflow tips and SLP resonators. I didn’t think they could mix but it does.

Here is a pic:

Video of it idling in the garage:

Startup and drive:

I tried Googling and I can’t find a Magnaflow catback with black tips, just regular steel tips. Maybe he had the tips painted but they don’t look painted. It looks like a coating. Also, when I looked up SLP resonators, I see Loudmouth 1 and Loudmouth 2. I put up a couple of videos. Can anyone tell what I have? I tried contacting the prior owner and he hasn’t gotten back to me.

Thanks

Considering cats AND volume I’d say they may be LM1’s. But worn out LM2’s could sound louder as my stingers did to others.
Magnaflow sells tips separate and I’ve seen black and carbon fiber. The street cat-back had remove-able tips so that wouldn’t have been hard.

Thanks. He must have bought the tips separately. The exhaust has about 400 miles on it.

If the LM2's get louder as they get older, will the LM1's do the same? The exhaust is pretty loud as is so I'm hoping it won't get any louder.

LM1’s to my knowledge have no packing and are just metal resonators. The LM2’s are like magnaflows magnapack and Borlas stingers/s-type mufflers; Those are straight through style mufflers like glasspack mufflers of old.

Thanks. I'm going to unbolt one and see if it has packing or not.
