In reality I don't need either. I also have a 392 Rubicon supposedly on order with the same dealer and am #1 on the Chevrolet dealers C8Z06 list whenever that comes to fruition. I think I am having a silly notion that I am not a Ford guy as bogus of a reason that may be. I fear the GT, if not sold or traded on either the TRX or Rubicon ( if they ever release the price on the bloody thing!) will be relegated to garage art, depreciating daily. I thought maybe I would actually drive the TRX and know I will drive the Rubicon. Convoluted thinking at best....

I know people who purchase a TRX will say they don't care about MPG, but if you listen close, you will hear them cursing under their breath. :D

.
I’m not even gonna lie, single digits just bugs me a little. Not really sure why as my current 2 vehicles get just barely over that. If i find an allocation i may just have to make sure i never scroll to that info(or put electrical tape over it lol)

The real winner in the pick up category is the RCSB F150 5.0 with boost

last I checked the trx and Raptor were not just in a typical pick up category so how does the RCSB do off road? Since that is what these trucks are actually built for

We are on the same path. Ordered my 392 11/19...no VIN yet but some guys are getting them. Same dealer knows I get the first stab at the Z car. And I have a 21 Escalade ordered to replace my wife’s Navigator.

My trackhawk averaged just over 12. You can help but to hammer it. Just makes you grin. But 4? Holy hell man...

Just about no one cares about the off road capability of these trucks and will only bring that up to measure cocks once in a while.

This thread sums it up what most clowns actually care about with this pickup, how quick it is in a straight line

Too bad most Raptors I see are pavement princesses. Most are parked at Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart.

you should probably let these groups know that just about nobody cares about the off road capabilities they were actually made for. There is a couple sites dedicated to it as well.... I’ll get the info so you can give them the memo, they probably didn’t get it

@DriftwoodSVT

You probably only seen them there because those are the only places you go. I am pretty sure you love close to the area that the host Texas Raptor run right? It has sold out ever year since 2012

How many are actually used for offroad?

Granted this crowd is very much single minded in only talking about the 0-60 time in this category of truck which is probably one of the dumbest things I have seen on this site but that is not the norm.

while some use a daily driver that never see more than a Starbucks curb most use these trucks as off road toys or a mixture of both DD and off road fun. On the Raptor site I would say it’s about 80/20 ( off road use / pavement princess) and I would be willing to guess when the trx comes out it will be slightly more pavement princess use. Hard to go on 1500mi off road rallies getting 6-8mpg

So, just for the giggles, what would the collective do given an opportunity to either keep the 2020 GT 500 or trade for the TRX? Reasons? Thanks for your thoughts.

Cool duplicate pics, get me that info, I'm going to roll down to home depot and let the other 99% of owners know that's what they should be doing with their trucks.
