My front brakes are shot. Looking to upgrade my stock pads/rotors to something better than oem. Not interested in changing the calipers. Tried the search but didn’t find anything. Looking for the communities take on stock pad/rotor combo upgrades. Thank you.

I highly recommend Hawk HPS pads. They stop great. They do dust a lot though. I wash my car a lot so it doesn't bother me all that much. As far as rotors, just the stock blanks have worked well for me. I don't really see the need for super fancy rotors unless you road race/auto-x. That's my $.02

Thanks. I ordered the stoptech slotted rotors and ebc Redstuff pads. I was looking at the hawk hps or hps 5.0 but I’ve a good experience with ebc so I went with those.

Keep us posted on how they work out. Should be much better than stock.

I've ran EBC stuff on my car and truck and haven't been even slightly impressed with them. Heavy dust and wore out quick. Their pads barely lasted 30k on my truck that sees mostly highway miles and the rotors were trash too.

I hope it works out for you but I would have went with power stop. I have their stuff on my daily and love them. Excellent cold bite and fade resistance and minimal dust.

I may try their pads in the future, for me i just didnt want drilled rotors, had issues with them cracking around the drilled holes, almost made for a bad time at an open track event.
