Sorry if this is not the place to ask this question, never posted in here so wasn’t sure where to post it at. But I’ve looked everywhere online for some answers/advice on a shifter relocation. Parts needed/any kits available to do so. Anyone on here got any advice or sell any kits? I’ve seen from other forums that a Grant Holland sells them but those posts are from 5+ years ago so I wasn’t sure if he still had them. Either way. Any advice/knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you!

Trying to finish my shifter relocation so I’m curious as well. I found a aluminum one on eBay under shifter plate for 99-04 mustang. Looks the same just doesn’t come with the bezel for gauges.

Click on the link below to find the old SVTPerformance threads that discussed this. Then click on THREAD 1, and THREAD 2. The THREAD 1 link shows how to do the original 2003-2004 Cobra shifter relocation mod.

Hey 03cobr#694 send a pic of what you made. Would you be interested in making another. I would much rather pay to have it made. I just don’t have the time to put into the labor at the moment.

PM me.
I'm the one who originally designed and made these starting back in 2004. I can definitely get you going as I still have some of the shifter plates stacked up in my garage. I stopped doing them when a customer decided to take one I sold him and copied them and began selling them. I believe that person was who sold them off to the other guy who has been selling them. He was set up a bit better than I was and it wasn't worth the bullshit to go head to head and toe to toe with anyone. However I've had a couple emails come in from people asking if I still did them. I don't but I could certainly put together a few as long as the one buying doesn't mind getting them painted or powder coated on their own!
Thanks
Ken

Hey Ken sorry for the delay I tried PM you but for some reason it just keeps directing me to contact the system administrator. Can you try to PM me. I’m interested in the shifter plate and the gauge holder if at all possible.

Does this plate move the shifter closer to the driver? I have the MGW shifter already, and its better that the factory position, but it's still a reach for me.

Yes it does, however see below!

Just to be clear since it was never specifically stated that I remember. This is ONLY for an automatic or automatic swapped Mustang using an aftermarket "automatic transmission" shifter These do not work with a manual transmission.
Thanks

I had the same problem. Didn't realize there was a relocation setup like that.

I just went with the UPR rock crusher shifter handle and it put it exactly where I wanted it. Easy as could be.
