So I got out R's, Cleaned them and drove the three of them. Each has its own unique driving style, all seem under powered, all have good handling skill sets. I do not know why but I really like the 95s. Anyone else do new years?

Tons of rain here unfortunately, but hoping to get the cars out this weekend. The 95R is my favorite as well.

I'm digging the 00R wheels on the 95R. Will have to try that one mine as I have a spare set for each.

Absolutely, each does indeed have their own feel. Ive only done 2 back to back not all 3 in one day. Located in MA, so everything is hibernating until spring.

We definitely need to be blessed with some more photos. That is one fine collection there. One of the best I've seen!

Pictures from my shop in Boise, We had a car show and had cars lined up, those 4 are mine, we had 3 others there as well. I do not have many pictures of them as they seem to always be on lifts in storage or just not thinking of it. I am not much for selfies.

Love it!

Didn’t you buy a 2020 GT500? If so, that’s why these classic Rs seem underpowered!

Yes, I have always had supercharged stuff, 08 GT500 has custom engine, 8300rpm and 805 rwhp. Have had supercharged fox bodies, lightning, ect... Just hard to believe looking back at how we thought these were fast, allot of times 450rwhp was allot to drive on street. Amazing, new GT500 just drives, no drama, just spin dish washer knob and go.

I think that might be why people find the older cars more fun to drive. They're just more engaging and demand more from you as a driver.

Newer cars with more technology will always be better/faster but it seems each generation removes a little more interaction each time.

Out of all my Mustangs, my two favorite cars to drive are my 2000 Cobra R and my 2020 CFTP GT500. They have a lot of similarities and both are fun as hell to pilot.

If you're skilled enough, I'm sure someone could get a similar feeling from a current GT500.

I don't think that person is me currently, lol. A.) Too poor to afford one and B.) No seat time in it.

I have had every car I own on the track except SUV and I think it would do good, as far as feel, it is exactly as he stated, at fast as hell speeds the GT500 is one hell of a skill test. Unreal how fast it goes, sure brings corners up fast. Fastest car I own is the 08 GT500, I drive it in a road rally in Idaho, Tour de Force, or The Sun Valley Rally. Its made a pretty tall pass or 2.

I enjoy driving things are are under 100 hp, and things that have lots of HP. Its all about the experience, and speed not the exclusive criteria (for me). I have a DCT car, it's FAST, but it will likely be our one and only DCT performance car. A manual is far more enjoyable for me.

Ive got all 4 (different color GT tho), I would not make that trade even if you tossed in the GT500 (and I love the R's). GT is that special.

If anyone wants to trade a Midnight Blue Ford GT for the R tri fecta let me know.

Ah, the 4 lined up on the left are yours. When I first looked at the photo, I didn't know which ones were yours and thought "maybe" you had two 2000 Cobra Rs. LOL.

Nice collection!
