To start off, I was stalking this site from when I was young knew nothing about cars but to see what people posted for sale in the terminator sections. Got my 04 when I was 19, learned a vast amount from the members and searching posts and whatnot and not to mention met a life long friend on here.

With social media like Facebook I have not been on here as much but still this website holds a huge spot for me in my little cold heart.

Really hope to see this site still on for years to come. Anyone else here had anything positive happen from being on here?

This is random as shit but I'm on a 12 hour road trip and figured I'd give my thanks to this forum

I joined back in 07(or 06) and I prefer here over most of the Facebook group stuff. It's a melting pot here as far as cars go imo. I get all the hellcat/dodge/camaro/whatever news at svtp so I don't even have to go join other forums lol. It is cool every time I see a familiar name or avatar since being here for this long and reminiscing of the ruckus that used to go down. Like you op I even purchased my cobra from a member off this forum after seeing their fs thread. Cheers.

Agree with all of it. Joined in 04 with an 02 GT when I was like 18 couldn't even do an oil change. Freind bought one too, used to sit around in his parents house watching Blades videos and all the old Streetfire content. Thought it was the coolest shit ever. Definitely fueled the flames and gave me a lifetime of a great but debilitating-bankrupting hobby and a list of legal infractions.

Both (kinda) grew up since then but a great group here. Between this and Khan Academy been thinking about writing my university for my money back.

Yep. Joined back when I had my terminator (2004). Since then i've gone through several cars and just life got in the "way" of the car hobby. So I try to get on here as much as i can but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Regardless, SVTP is pretty awesome and will always be.

Facebook will never match the community we all enjoy here at SVTP. I've been hanging around here since 2002. Going on 19 years of checking in pretty much daily. Over those years I've met some great folks, made more than a few friends, learned a LOT, and, well, just enjoyed the camaraderie. Come back as much as you can.

Spread the word.

Most people I know I work with. Unless you let us have "incognito accounts" I can share I keep my mouth shut. Said some sketch shit over the years (read as: "10 minutes ago") I have nightmares I wake up and HR learns my SVTP name. Like I if read Franz Kafka's "The Trial" when they told me to in Highschool.

Really is a unique site of great people though!

Same 2002 after my dad bought his 2002 Lightning looking at what mods was available and had the best punch for the bucks.

I joined years ago as well when I had my 2001 mustang gt. Thought it was a great car and fast lol. Now I have a 15 GT and an 03 lightning, I still come on and lurk. Not posting as much as I used to but it is still good to come here and read and occasionally put a post up

I can say unequivocally that I have met life long friends from this forum. Several of us talk every day and have a lot in common. This is like a virtual “Cheers” for guys to hang out. Even the trolls on here are sometimes missed when they go away.

I’ve found good advice, both car related and life related. the internet can be a wonderful tool when it can bring people together in a common place, and this is one of my favorites.

I actually came here because of a Camaro site. I was checking out the issues with Camaros as my wife was thinking about getting one. The GT 500 was coming out and the ZL-1 was being ass raped by regular GT's. Any one even mentioning SVTP on Camaro5 was being banned so I had to come here and see what they were doing to get the bowtie boys knickers in a wad. At the time I had a Mustang GT, since I have gotten a Boss 302 and now have a GT350.

Been here since 2004. I bought my Terminator from here. Three GT500s later, I’m still here. This is the best Mustang forum.

Quality tech is hard to come by. People don't seem to understand there's a vast difference between a random facebook group post vs something as concrete as a forum post.

So big shout out to the staff, forum, and members for keeping it up and around
