Smoked a turkey for the first time Christmas morning and it turned out pretty good.
I brined it for a couple of days using this brine.
Out of this World Turkey Brine
Then followed this recipe using jalapeno jelly instead of bbq sauce at the end.
That BQ'd turkey looked GOOD! Yes, sir. I was intrigued by the fruit stuffing. I've always used a bread based stuffing, but that looks interesting, flavor-wise. I was hoping he'd mention any fruit flavors penetrating the meat at the end of the video. Anyone else ever used a fruit stuffing like that?

It’s a little machine I drop wood chips into, with a tube. I cover the cup with ice cube and whiskey in it with a bigger glass cover.

thrn it on and it burns the chips and smokes for about 30 seconds. Pull the tube. And let it sit for 2 minutes for the smoke to settle out.
Cool. What’d you do to smoke the bourbon? Also, for the price, Buffalo Trace can’t be beat imo.

I don't know how it affected the flavor, but it smelled good when I got it out of the cooler before we served it.

It is so decadent. I seasoned the bone marrow with SPG and smoked paprika. Toasted up fresh French bread slices and just spread it on like butter...**** it is so good.

Have done this a few times with regular steak. Also very ****ing delicious

Thin cut bacon is for kommies. Give me thick cut or give me death

Phillies w/ chimichurri + asspergas + pots (I did golds instead of the usual petite reds just for that one guy said he needed a new car/garage/whatever on here)
