I am thinking of something new and these have caught my eye. Yay? Nay? Any reviews would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I had a Gelandenwagen.

****ing loved it. AMG G55 with the supercharged 5.5L V8. Absolute beast.

Traded it for the Scatpack after I found internal body rust from the sunroof and window frame. It would have needed a lot of work #nothanks.

If I did it again, I'd get a 90's version from Russia ($10k) without all the BS Mercedes Electronics and all the body/interior mods I want (full leather dash, custom door cars, leather seats and suede roof panels is $2,300 from a guy I know in Moscow).

Import ($4,500 fees + shipping) then just drop in a Hellcat Engine /Trans. It's a divorced transfer case, easy-peesy.

Thanks Corbic but this is what I had in mind

TFL had multiple shootouts with the Power Wagon and it got its ass reamed by the Bison and Raptor.

It's too big and heavy to be an effective rock crawler and it's suspension isn't up to par for fast flat running.

Just get a 2500 and add a Carli suspension kit. You loose out on magnetic sway bars and factory front locker - big whoop.

A buddy has one, its an awesome truck imo. The mpg's suck and the 8-spd is a must as the 6-spd is a turd.

I admit I was looking at one until the Tremor + 7.3L came out. If I go to a heavy duty/super duty it would hard for me to choose an outdated 6.4 over the 7.3.

Klaus you are a baller. Stop ****ing around, dump the (sweet) Zr2 and go after a TRX and call it a day.

No one... NO ONE has an interior as nice as the current Ram interior. Not to mention 700+ hp.

LOL at a damn "tremor" when a TRX is available. Shit... because of our lovely Ford dealers, theyre almost the same price!

I've traded for 6 Powerwagons in the last couple of months. 5 bought Tremors and one bought a Raptor.

They're nice trucks. There are better options in the market though.

This.

I went with the Cummins, gave up the lockers and disconnecting sway bars, gained payload and 50% more range (and you can get a 52 gallon aftermarket gas tank for the CCSB diesel - not for gasser though). You can finally get the PW with bucket seats and a center console. The 6.4 with a 30 gallon tank and full time 4wd sucks on gas.

I would have gone Tremor with the godzilla but I think the SD interior sucks compared to the Ram.

I have a 19 ram 1500 and love it, but for the life of me I just can’t see the value of the power wagon.

Imo give it time on the trx for gas prices to go up. Can score one for cheap once gas up another 50c -$1 or more and the suburb ballers can't afford it

Idk the 2021 F150 interior has stepped up ita game big time. Not sure Ram in number 1 in that anymore. But 700hp is something Ram is the only game in town for now.

Meh, I need a full size bed. The baby 5'7 bed isn't big enough for me. I'm saving my pennies for a g56 mega cab cummins. Will build it to my likings with either 2nd gen swap or compounds, carli or thuren lift and go from there. Love that big rig sound. But I'm not bashing off-road either. Little bits here and there to fishing spots or back road exploration is about it.
