Nah, he has a great garage that kept a silver 2014 in perfect condition.

For the chance to order a CFTP at MSRP, I think you’d have to go for it as long as the price is doable.
$90k+ for a Mustang does make you cringe at some level, but these CFTPs seem to be the real deal.
Once you do the Ford Performance driving school, you may want to have some track fun every now and then, and the CFTP will make that a pretty amazing experience.
I also think you’ll be able to sell the car for at least what you paid after a year if you don’t love it.
Good luck with the choice buddy, would be nice to see another CFTP in Ohio!

I would get the CFTP if it’s a non mark up situation simply for the fact that if the car is cared for in the long run there is likely better value retention

I originally wanted a base. Dealer called with a CFTP at MSRP. Wife and I picked it up and ran in sport mode the whole day back. All smiles from her, no complaints. Just my 2 cents.

Get the CFTP. At msrp, it's a screaming deal. I don't think the ride is harsh at all. I live near Columbus also, so if you want look at my CFTP to help you decide, let me know.

No, I haven't. CFTP car with tech pack, and cover is $95,990 - which makes it $103,189 with Ohio 7.5% sales tax. I'm having trouble justifying the cost, coupled with the carbon fiber wheels and wing issues.

Contrast that with the base car (w/ tech pack, Recaros, CF instrument panel, handling pack and cover) at $81,835 - which makes it $87,973 with sales tax. So, I'm weighing in my mind: is it worth it to spend $15k more for the CFTP?

Truth be told, I think the CFTP car is just badass and I love the weight savings in the CF wheels. Love the look of the CFTP cars a tad more than the base - the wheels and wing look perfect to me; however, driving the CFTP car around town I think that all I would be doing is staring at the road watching for potholes, etc.

To make it more complicated, I'm working with a different local dealer on ordering a base car and we are currently negotiating a MSRP +ADM deal. Depending upon the ADM, I may order a base car directly from Nick and have the car shipped to Columbus on an enclosed transport.

I've been watching too many YouTube videos on this car and can't stop thinking about it. I sincerely appreciate all the member feedback in this thread.

I would agree order what you want. Still hard to turn down a CFTP MSRP.
The real question is will it command an additional $15k at resale? I’d argue the CFTP will always command a premium but the debate is how much. Good chance it’ll always be at least $10k more

I was in the same dilemma as you. CFTP ordered to my specs at MSRP. Couldn't pass it up. Love that wing! Scared of the wheels; but, I'll switch them out and they'll be like new when I sell it 40k miles later!

If you are debating it this much, order the car you want from Nick. I can say based on al I hear review wise about him if I were in the market for a Ford he would be my number 1 choice to buy from.

if the wheels and wing are a deciding factor take the money you save and buy some signature wheels or something of the like to put on and get an oem wing. Then you have something you truly want to your spec.

i agree with the thought process, but the wing alone is the cost of the CFTP upgrade almost...
