Saw this on dragtimes today. It looks like brooks ordered one. Dear Lord! Lol. Might just be getting rid of the Zr1 for this!! Looks like they will cost 120k. In other words a dam bargain!

But doesn't sound good, killed Brittany Spear's sister's cat and kinda boring looking.
But then this:

Seriously though, pretty impressive I'd rock it. Still curious about the longevity of the company once all the mainstream companies jump in with both feet. Fast as shit, kind of over the "lacks soul" argument.

It's fast for sure, and maybe I stand alone in my opinion, but those cars have no personality, I love the way my GT500 sounds on cold start and rowing through the gears getting on the highway, the smell of E85 and the list goes on. Yes that tesla would drag my ass and I'm sure it's a rocket from a dig. But it honestly does nothing for me.

Yup, and I'm sure you can program it to run a killer lap hitting all the right lines. Hit go and take a nap while hot lapping.

The Plaid+ gets more power (1,100+) whereas the regular Plaid gets 1,020hp, and more range (520 miles vs. 390 miles). Price jumps to $139,990. 0-60 in UNDER 1.9 seconds. Actual numbers haven't been stated.

I like the interior changes, and the exterior has a tad more personality, but still on the bland side. JMO.

U would think with all this technology and money that they would actually design a good looking car. The thing is still the ugliest car on the planet smfh.

Probably has over a 1000 ft lbs of TQ tho. Electric is the future and will absolutely DESTROY gas cars with all that TQ.

On the street off the line that thing would put Bus lengths on my Turbo Mustang!

Thats CrAzY fast for a 5000lbs brick?
And supposedly it will have some track day abilities.
I can't imagine the stresses generated with that much power and the suspension trying to manage that much weight.
Just goes to show that the location of weight makes all the difference!

While it will destroy just about everything...how do you put metrics on fun?
While mashing WOT it's going to be the the most fun on four wheels ever....at all other times, you'll just be driving a really nice & quiet full size luxury car.

My PP1 MT6 GT isn't even in the parking lot of the ballpark where this thing plays...but it is fun 100% of the time.
Just rolling away from a stop, hearing the pipes bark & shifting gears is always entertaining and never gets old.

Of all the performance cars I’ve owned, the one that was the most fun to drive and I felt the most connected to was my ‘04 BMW M3 manual. Did 0 to 60 in 4.7 1/4 in low 13s.... fun doesn’t always equal fast.
Most new cars have little to no “soul” no matter how fast they are. Tesla’s are amazing cars, but a golf cart might be similar in the fun to drive category.

You might be making the opposing argument to what you intend with this statement.

I (and I’m sure others) have had a lot of fun behind the wheel of a golf cart, especially after about 6 holes and 8 beers.
