They appear to be antagonistic asshole neighbors that pushed and pushed a guy over the edge.

You call someone by the wrong pronoun you are band for life across all social media platforms.

Show people getting shot. It supports a narrative.

For as detailed and clear as it is, you don't really see much in terms of blood and guts and that could be a factor why it is making the rounds in places you might not expect. The 8mm Zapruder at 18 fps showed more gore.

The media leftists are probably eating it up for all the reasons above. They can push the limits by showing it on TV since there is no gore and just imagine the response they will get from every day people who aren't as desensitized as most of us? I'm pretty sure most of us got a pretty strong feeling from watching it so showing it to people who don't concern themselves with violence and showing them that it happened in a seemingly normal middle class neighborhood... I bet the gun grabber movements just got a couple thousand new members. It's all about that initial emotional response.

Hopefully they put some focus on mental health, especially how's it been impacted during Covid, or maybe dispute resolution.

That guy was going to kill them regardless, using a firearm just happened to be the most convenient method.

The couple played this really poorly. They did well antagonizing him into a murderous rage. They should have both also had their concealed carries on them. So when he went crazy the could have justifiably defended themselves and gotten rid of the neighbor they disliked.

Or maybe, just maybe they could have treated each other with some decency, settled their differences, and gone on living life. Not everything has to solved using a firearm. As temporarily satisfying as it may be.

Or that, just make sure you are the one on top and plan for all contingencies. If you yell at someone have the expectation that they will try to kill you so plan accordingly

Maybe they should but that is just not their agenda. They believe removing guns from everyone's hands is the answer. Pushing mental health in regards to owning firearms actually drives people away from getting treatment because there are laws in place that allow for LE to remove an individual's firearms indefinitely if someone ofbauthority deems it so. The concept makes sense on paper but it has shown to have the opposite result with less people seeking out help. To be honest, I would probably avoid it too if I knew someone was certainly going to come take my guns with no realistic avenues of reprieve, because in the end it is my right to defend myself as it is everyone else's right as well.

Not how self defense works. They'd still have got manslaughter for creating the situation.

It was pretty mutual up until the guy to to nuclear level so it's not as similar to those stated situations. They wouldn't have gotten much time had they offed him on self defense after he fired a million rounds

You're allowed to curse at your neighbor, your not allowed to kill them.

I'm sure we'll never know all the background on this story. I can only imagine this feud was going on for a long time. There were probably plenty of verbal exchanges before all this happened. Even after the dude shows up with a gun, the couple look like they walk towards him daring him to do anything. They probably never thought he was capable of this type of action. As was before many times, everybody has their breaking point and they simply pushed this guy too much for the last time. Life is cheap in today's society. Add in all the people with mental issues, a big population constantly being medicated, enduring the covid lockdowns and likely all sorts of other life trauma...and this is the outcome. This should be a cautionary tale going forward.

Yes and what if the shooter received some bad news about his health or work? Perhaps he thought the world is shitty anyway and he was going out with a bang?! Let this be a lesson for everyone. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If someone starts insulting you walk away. I need to take this same advice and have had some rage moments the past year. Not worth it.
