How does it feel to own an 03-04 cobra? I just want to say it feels nice to be on the side that owns an 03 cobra. I have been seeing so many WTB posts and as of recently they are fetching some pretty high prices. Feels good to be on this side just watching the demand go up, I definitely do not plan on selling anytime soon... turning into a sellers market, I like it.

I have been looking around and there are really not much to choose from. I don't know if any of you remember High-End Auto but I remember going to their lot and seeing like 15 of them, they have zero currently according to their site.

I haven't really driven mine in about 6 years. My son is 17 and when he and his friends come by they always want me to lift the car cover and pop the hood. This year I'm going to spend some money on the old girl.
Front/Rear Bilstein Hd's
Spec Stage 3+ and flywheel
New tire's all round
True 20 plus hr. complete detail w/ Ceramic coating
Maybe little more fuel pump and boost.... Maybe

To answer your question... I love my Terminator again and with 21,000 miles I'm sure I'm ahead of the game if I wanna sell it!!!

It’s interesting how many people have had terminators, or multiple terminators, yet they are looking for another after having sold theirs. The car has character and it has respect.

I have an 11k mile garage queen 03, and I don’t need to drive it to enjoy owning it. I frequently wipe it down or just glance at it while in the garage. There aren’t too many cars at that price point I would do that with.

I had intentions of making mine a full blown track car, and it has been that way for a while now. But recently seeing the way the market has grown I’m deciding to bring it back to more of a street trim. Hanging on to it as long as I already have has paid off in dividends to me in more ways than one.

I bought my coupe in 07 with 21k on the clock. It now has 45k on the clock.

My vert I bought in 16 with 75k on the clock. It now has 76k on the clock.

Yes, both my Terminators are only driven once in a while. I may sell the vert one day, but my coupe will be passed on to my oldest daughter.

Love my Terminators. They are so much fun to drive. When I do drive them that is lol.

Couple more years and these cars will be 20 years old and only going up in value. So, I'm also glad I'm an owner and not looking for one.

I've considered selling mine, and i have a lot into it. I just know that if it sells I will miss the HELL out of it. I've owned it for over 9 years and when I take it out for a drive or to work it gets compliments from everyone, even the occasional guy that says "I don't like Mustangs' but tha one looks sweet ;)

I've had multiple terminators. I feel like I'll always have one in my garage.. maybe not the same one, but its a car I will always enjoy building and driving.

It does seem that asking prices are going up. I'm not sure what the sold prices are but this car will have a following for a long time and will continue to go up in value. Especially the desirable colors and low production numbers.

I would have a hard time selling mine for anything less than 30k. and I bet I could get that almost immediately if I listed it...It has all the goods and only 21k miles.

I've fully and shamelessly enjoyed being a 03-04 Cobra SVT enthusiast since my first Terminator in 2014. Let's be honest, the Terminator wasn't a watered-down stripe option. It delivered results, which was refreshing considering many so-called 'performance models' across all makes before and after it ended up that way. Arguably, it still delivers today. Maybe it doesn't deliver the most power anymore, but it delivers an experience that many folks who left, have come back to. It could be its story, maybe its reputation, but I really think it is an experience that transcends the experience of first gen muscle cars, IMO.

Today, I am fortunate to own two 04 Cobras - a black coupe and an orange coupe. It would take a lot for me to step away from them. A lot.

The Terminator was an icon in the making from the very beginning. And honestly, at the end of the day, it's really just like any other gateway to re-living youth... simpler times, remembering when taking risks was fun. For me, the Cobras are the experience ready and waiting for me to give in and sample, from time to time, the freedom of what being young was all about.

I own two myself. One’s a orange convertible and the other a black coupe. Both are Canadian cobras. There isn’t too many in Canada and the demand for them is high. I don’t think I could replace these cars and still have that raw modern day muscle car feel. Everything else is too refined so to speak now days. I do like that after all these years cars are still compared to the terminators to feel relevant. The name “terminator “definitely defines the car accurately.

My first Terminator was a black 03 and my second was a Comp Orange Vert.

The asking price in Canada is getting out of hand. Some people are asking over 50k. There was a lower mile Lighting that had an asking price of 79k! They are nice vehicles but not worth what some people think they are.

I feel I was lucky to find my sub 10k car just under 2 years ago. I thought I paid a fair price at that time, and seems like now a lot of sub 10k cars are closer to 40k. Whether the sellers get that, who knows? I wouldn't want to be on the search for a pristine collectors example the way prices are at this time.

The cycle of the 03 cobra.

-bought new by guys who had decent money

-late ‘00s to early ‘10s being sold used for very reasonable money.

-ton have been parted, clapped out.

-limited supply of low mileage clean ones looking to be purchased by guys who now are more settled in life and were just a little to young to buy new.

I was a dumbass and traded mine in on my truck in 2015. Luckily I tracked down the guy who bought it and drove it 492 miles in 4 years plus kept it in a climate controlled garage and bought a cover for it. I will never make that mistake again. Plus now I have a cover for winter!

I have build #2. I'm in it for the long haul.

Wow! Build #2. I definitely would not let that one go. As a former owner, I still miss mine, and if I could have kept it as a "garage queen" along side my DD, I would have done it. Just couldn't, financially. For those who still have theirs and don't need to sell them, I envy you. The Terminator is, and always will be, a legend muscle car.
