Picked up a couple plinkers for the range, hoping to get my boys interested in something besides video games!

Ruger Precision 22 LR in bronze cerakote w/ Bushnell Elite 3-9x50mm scope.

GSG 1911 22LR with brushed stainless slide. Beautiful full size 1911, feels great in the hand, can't wait to try it out!

Also got some lighting for my gun safe. It's motion activated so it turns on when I open the door. I also integrated a 12v battery into the circuit so it will work even when the AC power is out. The LED strips are wedge shaped so they fit perfectly in a corner and the 2 sided tape stuck well to the carpet liner. Check it out on Amazon if you're looking for lighting for your gun safe

You will be able to shoot the tits off a fly with that rifle. Report back if that 1911 runs or not, 22 can be so iffy.

Yeah, when I saw the photo I WANTED it so bad. It will remain a dream gun in my head, but it is really stunning.

Slight derail, but I wanted to ask what advice anyone has for building a reload bench. Not sure why I'm asking, since I lost all my firearms in a freak boating accident.

Anyway, I'd like to build a reload bench on wheels. That way I can move it around the shop anywhere I'd like. What to include and mistakes to avoid would be appreciated.

Move on, nothing to see here.

I think your best bet would be to look it up on YouTube, there are a couple of really good tutorials, go step-by-step on what is needed, from what I last saw.

Be sure that all wooden surfaces are sealed for easy, thorough clean up after projects. The bench should be rugged and capable of holding the mechanical loading equipment and be able to support it while it's in use. The bench should be properly braced so that it doesn't sag or move during use. Strength and stability are really important.

Be sure the bench is large enough to provided sufficient space to keep all of your equipment and loading accessories handy. Stackable drawer organizers are a good idea. They can either be built into the bench or separate from the bench, of course.

You can find reloading plans online for free, or at minimal cost. Check out Gunloading.com because they have good guides on building a custom reloading bench. The drawers can be used for organizing pretty much all of your reloading equipment, including caliber dies, shell holders, powder measures, miscellaneous tools, cleaners, safety glasses, ammo casings, ammo boxes, etc. I posted two links below.

As already pointed out, YouTube has a lot of videos to help you build your bench and do it right. Here are a couple of (hopefully) useful links from gunloading.com.

Olympic, Is that a SFx Whiteout I see?!
How do you like it? Mods?
Love mine but it's the FDE color

I posted more pics of it a few pages back: https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/gun-porn-thread.442895/page-924#post-16566051 Here in Canada they slap a Maple Leaf on the slide and call it the "Canadian Edition"...lol! I can't comment much on it though cause it's my first hand gun and I haven't even fired it yet cause my local gun range is outdoors and were still deep in winter. Beautiful gun though, feels great in the hand and everything seems high quality.
