You will love the upgrade!

Nice.. is that a non crusher set up?
Correct, the blower is almost 9 years old

Yes, its some old school stuff. I could have pulled the headlight on the dyno to pick up some numbers or even iced down/cooled down between runs. wasnt looking to put numbers up that werent "real", just off the street stuff.

Affirm. Standard inlet. You are correct, 9 year old blower

It’s a Gen2 unless he paid to have the rotors upgraded.

Sent from my iPhone using the svtperformance.com mobile app

That thing put down some nice numbers. I've been on the fence on getting a Whipple 2.9 or freshening up my KB 2.6?
Both have been proven performers. Just depends on your goals and preference. The newer 2.9's are monsters...

Your Cobra sounds really good. Awesome numbers. What was the RPM peak on the pull? Sounded higher than I expected.

That pull was to 7300rpm from what i remember. The boost was just starting to climb at 7000rpm as it overcame the Whipple's bypass valve and it was still heading north on the graph for HP when I stopped the test. I haven't had to many consistent runs on the 03/04 cobra pcms above 7500rpm due to a the oem coils and possibly (not confirmed yet) pcm rpm hard limit. I could see it making another 45-50 more hp if it was stable to 7700ish. I am using diablosport/cmr software and haven't really needed to go above 7000rpm on most builds. with the inconstancy of our pump gas here i decided its better to leave it around that rpm.

That's about what it sounded like to me. How widely does the octane vary up there?

We have ethanol free 94 octane, 91 octane with ethanol 7-9%, and 91 with 10% ethanol. I try to use 94 exclusively for now but have had multiple cars show light knock (coyote cars) with the same fuel and no changes from when it didnt knock, just a tank fill up. I always leave the Borderline spark tame and dont go after the last 2-4% for safety sake of the fuel differences.
