Off the lot out of sight

Haven’t met a person that didn’t regret buying one of these hunks of shit.

Worse than a boat.

Yes, personal experience as a tech that had a Coca Cola Dist (rich mofo) tow his 10 mile RR to our shop with a dead battery and failed suspension.

Another rich friend bought one and traded it in within a year.

Garbage.

I think that is a badass truck. 2-Door, V8, and sounds pretty sick. I'd only buy one if I had nothing but insane amounts of money to blow on cars though lol

Love it, but would be hesitant to own. If only the bronco had a glorious sounding V8 option.

I will say though my sister is on her third Land Rover which is out of warranty and she loves the things and so far no real issues. I just can’t bring myself to take the risk specially at their price point.

The sound of the 5.0 is SWEET!!! I'm with Ray. I'd like to own one IF I was rolling in dough and I wanted a fleet of vehicle toys to play with.

My old boss always owned Range Rovers and he bought the first supercharged model when it came out, and ended up having it lemoned. He got a Sport Supercharged in its place and that one didn't have any issues. The model he had before though, the most expensive model, had electrical problems out the ass.

Almost bought a Range Rover for my wife but the interior spaces was smaller than we thought. I don’t listen to the reliability issue he said she said stuff because most of that talk comes from a friend of a friend who has a friend that heard of a friend having issues. Most of the problems that Land Rover Range Rover had were when Ford owned them.

@csc427 Any issues with yours?

hey buddy, no issues at all. My wife had a 16 supercharged sport v8, then upgraded to the new model when it came out in 19 I believe. Same thing. Supercharged sport v8 525hp. She will trade in on the new one when it comes out as well. We have loved both of them and I’ve considered picking up one to daily as well and save some miles on my truck. I’ve watched my boss go through 4 different range rovers in the last 7 years as well. He likes the bigger model. Lots of room, just less sporty. Zero issues with ours or his. My boss also has 2 mb g63 amg at the moment. Nice as well just a bit high on price to beat up in the winter. Lol

Also, dealership has always treated us great. The send a loaner up to us (1.5 hours away) and pick her car up for the yearly service. So she’s never with out a vehicle to haul the children if she needs to. I think all high end companies have had their fair share of crap cars. Mostly these are very limited or stories of a friend of a friend. My brother picked up an Audi one time he was gonna lease for work. Got it home from the dealership and it was making a pinging noise. Had to replace the motor with 300 miles on it. No questions asked. Bad bearing they said. Lol. He’s had 2 since (s3 and s5 now), no issues. I wouldn’t hesitate to own one either.

It will depreciate sure, but at least they had the balls to build it with a V8 option. So many car companies going down to small turbo motors. I understand why, but I still give Land Rover credit for that!

I agree, @IamRacerX, give Land Rover credit for pushing against the smaller engine with a turbo power-adder craze. A friend of mine owned a Land Rover a few years ago and loved it. No issues that I'm aware of.
