There were a handful of times with our old boat in tow on my EB F150 that I passed people on a 2 lane highway. It was very gratifying but it was a pretty light boat. Don’t think it would be as safe with our new one so that fun is probably over
That's mighty impressive. Even nicer is the fact that so many truck models can now really haul ass, either direct from the factory (ie. TRX) or with simple mods and a tune, like this F250 Tremor. As already pointed out, they can lay down some whoop-ass on quite a few "performance" cars out there. First there were sleeper cars. Now we have sleeper trucks. It's all good!!!
@JJackson515 what do your Super Duties run 0-60?
I’ll wager the 0-60 is close, but the procharger gaps the diesel past the 1/8th.
I pissed off a dude in an Explorer sport once while I was towing my Cobra. He cut my wife off to try and get around us. He was pretty shocked when my truck passed him with trailer in tow. Then he was pissed when I blocked him in with a semi.
Once the streets clear up, Ill see. Our l5p ran a 4.16 60ft. it should be similar. 12.5 @ 108 in the quarter.
It still has the converters and stock Resonator. I am planning on deleting the resonator soon.
