Ford Mustang Mach E review by Mustang collector: awesome new vehicle that tried to kill me 3 times!

In this video, I get a Ford Mustang Mach E to try for 3 days. I surprise the wife with it! The Mach E might be her next vehicle. We take it on multiple test drives and film it inside and out. Included is footage I was shooting with the vehicle running on "autopilot" (Intelligent Cruise Control) when it tried to take me off-road into obstacles as well as running towards a handicapped person. This was our first time in a self driving vehicle... We loved the Mach E, but use the Intelligent Cruise Control with EXTREME CAUTION!

I show the 360 camera system used while parking... it is frigg'n amazing! The Mach E has already been returned though.

If I was in the market I'd get one.

My new Model Y is not the best looking car on the roads today (I consider Tesla's to be 'unique'), but between it and this Ford 'thing' , I'm confident I made the right choice for me.

Video was way too long for the minimal review info you provided, but it was sort of entertaining. It really would have been much better if you edited it down to about 20 minutes of actual factual content. If people get bored with your presentation, they're going to leave the video early. Going forward, keep it short and keep to the facts and info people really want to hear.

Am I mostly sold now on this Mustang Mach-E.....nope. Not by a long shot.

My brother has a Tesla and he loves it. If you're happy with your Model Y, then it was the best choice for you. Tesla has a jump on Ford as far as electronics, but in time I expect Ford to gain ground.

That same 360 camera feature is in the Lincoln Navigator & Aviator. Nothing ground breaking for the Mach E

Took the family to the local dealership because the best fried chicken is across the street. MY BOYS, not me see balloons on a all silver Mach E a carry on about taking a look. Instant personal disgust. I stick it out while the polite sales girl describes it. Then she says they have an x model around the side. This one had two tone pearl like white with a black trim and glass roof. Nice wheels compared to the other. She tried to talk us in for a ride but I declined after seeing the 58k sticker and another sales guy interrupted the sales girl saying "this is the dealerships car, "it's not available for sale " lol! Come on boys let's go!
On the way to the Shelby my youngest says " don't all these cars belong to the dealer dad?

I would be willing to replace our pilot with one when the time comes. My main hold back is the cost of them, I am not a big spender on our cars anymore so I would need to wait quite a few years for the prices to drop quite a bit.

Thanks for the video advice. You can obviously leave the video at any time or keep watching if it interests you. Some will be interested, some will not. Hopefully the video show a good depth of this vehicle versus just a quick "it's great!"

The camera system was new to us... we found it absolutely AMAZING!

Just so everyone knows....Intelligent Cruise Control is NOT self driving. Please do not use it as thus.

Also, I actually find the camera on the Mach E and the 21 F-150 to be worse than the previous generations. Reason being is the screen is so large, everything is distorted, almost like a wide angle lense.

I equate this car to a covid flu shot. I won’t get either one.

Tim, thanks for sharing your video of the Mach E, I thought it was a good review.

I don't think I would ever feel comfortable letting a vehicle drive itself, no matter how good the system is.

Thanks Booky! The system works well on well defined roads with no weird things. Something like freeway droning would be a good use for it. You see the 3 times it tried to take me off-road into obstacles though. Definitely be on your guard if you opt to use this tech!
