I remember you making a comment about the sloppy steering. This should make a huge improvement.
Yup the sloppy steering drives me nuts. I want it to be more like my cobra. Hopefully this is a good improvement.
Fight fight fight fight LMAO!!!! J/K brothers.

I would love to get another fox body, but wife says I have too many Mustangs as it is.

My unicorn is another fox body with tan interior.

Funny thing is I found one and it's at a decent price too. This is EXACTLY how my GT looked when I bought it minus the sun roof. I would love to have this car, but it's not going to happen..........:(

Funny, thing is I've been looking at that mustang on eBay. I'd definitely like to have it!

Thanks guys for the kind words. I really am enjoying this car and she feels better everytime out. Idle has not calmed down when cold, but I have some thought s on that soon.

She is a looker from ten feet for sure, but she has some flaws the closer you look. I seem to not be satisfied with any car for very long, but I think I might just have this one a while. She is 100% stock and the desire to put flowmaster two chambers on is wearing me out!

Mod it and keep all of the original parts. That's my plan lol.

So just how modded is your car?

I've had it about 18 months and haven't done anything to it so far other than a few small fixes that it needed. I finished up my 30'X40' garage not long before I got it, so all of my time, effort and spare cash has gone into getting the inside tidied up. Got heat last fall and a lift is coming later this year.

It only has an exhaust right now, that's how I bought it. but I have some ideas...

I have 3:73's for it, thinking about a shifter and it definitely needs some suspension upgrades. Holley Terminator X? Stroker kit and HCI? Might even coyote swap it lol. Who knows.

My plan is to just enjoy it this summer and decide later this year which direction I want to go.

My ultimate goal is to ad a 13' Grabber blue with black stripe GT500 to the stable, so I may just keep the Saleen fairly stock and put extra cash towards the Shelby.

Decisions, decisions.....

Wow, I had a Grabber Blue with black stripe 13 GT500 vert. It was nasty.

Our plans are very similar. I like my Hurst way better than the factory Hurst. I like the 3:08 gears and would probably swap the whole housing before I would risk a whiney set of gears as they drive me nuts when they whine. (as both of my GT500's did.)

How much exhaust change do you have done?

Did you buy the MM solid bushings yet? Those will make the big difference.

I did, but I have the smaller hole shifter and handle that doesn't require the bushings now. I have them ready to go if I ever swap back the old original Hurst stuff. They are a great addition for sure. I think I have had this shifter in at least 10 different cars. My son totaled a 94 and left it at the salvage yard for the tow bill. I told him to get my shifter out and I am glad I did!

Not yet. I may try the polyurethane ones that I have first. I've talked to some that have had both. I'm excited to install it though.

I would strongly recommend this. The value in a Saleen is stock. A coyote swap is best saved for a 4cyl notch upgrade. Thats just my opinion, which of course means nothing.

I'd have to agree with this. If I was in the market for a Saleen, it would need to be stock.

Of course, my "issue" with coyote swaps is that 9 out of 10 are not done the way I would do them. Too many things deleted for the same of getting the engine in. I'm the kind of person who wants one with power steering, hydroboost, functional AC, wipers and even working cruise control. 9 out of 10 tend to eliminate most if not all of those.
