Microsoft killed their small business services and kicked me out so I had to move to GoDaddy. The web site is still at www.accutachcom, but all of the links underneath are broken. I turned the TachMatch write-up into a PDF you can download from here: https://websites.godaddy.com/blob/1...1afb7/downloads/1bge8mkea_898069.pdf?c6f09509
Bro...

I wish you could come to georgia and do this to my car.

I just used aftermarket gauge and sender to replaced the original. I removed it from the housing. Actuator part was almost same size as original, I only had to cut axle little shorter. Then I removed soldered connectors from circuitboard and bypassed wires. I also use warning light, and oil temperature gauge

I changed to the pdf link in my post as well in case anyone tries to use it from my thread in the future. Mine still works great btw.

I was one of the original testers. I love this mod and it still works great. I would hate having two gauges for one function, so this is one of my favorite mods.

Check out your local car repair shops. I bet someone there can do it for you.

FYI, I make the upgrade units for 99-04 Fords, not for the older cars. A friend of mine who runs www.technoversions.com makes the MeterMatch units that upgrade 79-98 cars.
