I agree completely! That scene with The Flash and then with Cyborg as well once as he was accessing and inside the Unity were excellent scenes that I can't believe were cut in the theatrical version. The ending fight scene was so much better too with how brutal the beat down on Steppenwolf was. I can't say I expected any of that ending sequence to happen at all, but I'm glad it was in there. Aside from the Amazonian music, I thought the overall change in the soundtrack was really good as well.

I'm curious how raw the original footage was. Some of the ending scenes were spectacular. If all that CG was already done how much money was on the cutting room floor in man hours alone?

And yes I have the Amazon/Halo theme burned in my brain right now.

It was good, but the animated movies are so much better because they can expand the universe out so much more and keep more faithful to the characters

I enjoy the animated series for that very reason, that they can really expand on the actual stories of the characters. I'm not a huge fan of animation though so I like the live action more but would like to see the true story lines in place.

Finished lastnight. Great movie, will probably buy the 4K Blu Ray when available.

To understand the ending, I had to google and found a great sit down article with Zack Snyder.

I'm pretty sure 95% or more of the film is shot in front of a green screen if that is what you are referring to. I agree though that the CGI was much better this go around and the ending scenes were some of the best looking of the entire film.

The live action stuff needs to be stepped up some and the reigns let loose like DeadPool. You can do a Deathstroke live action movie for example, but that sucker has to be rated R to feel the real effect.

DC needs to stay dark and keep out of the wokeness and they will be ok

I agree. A lot of the animated content is R rated so if they want to translate that to live action then they can't make it kid friendly or it will definitely lose its appeal. Deathstroke isn't funny like Deadpool is so they would have to make up for it in violence and badassery basically.

For those that love Keaton's Batman, there is good news. He will be in the upcoming The Flash movie as it explores the Multiverse and time travel. So it will have Affleck's Batman as well as Keaton's.

Late to the party, but I have to say . . . I don't get the love for this thing. They took a substandard, 2-hour movie and made it into a 4 hour snooze fest. I realize that the special effects were always going to be suspect, but they were BAD. Further, very little of the coveted additional footage added to the story, IMO. Everything just dragged out.

My wife gave up after a couple hours. I finished it because I felt like I had to. If you use the Avengers movies as the benchmark, this thing didn't come close. Not even the same universe (pun intended).

I sat through this with the help of edibles, and still thought the music score sucked.

I think the love/hate perspectives differ from person to person based on their expectations... are you going to watch a popcorn action flick or do you want developed characters and plot.

Take End Game and GOT S8 for example... good popcorn shows but IMO they didn’t live up to the development and details that went in to the preceding movies/seasons.

Compared to Endgame and Infinity War? Infinity War is easily the best Avengers Movie and Marvel in general. Endgame... well the last battle was worth it but whole movie was slow and didnt really go nowhere till the last half.

Far as Ultron, that was a joke garbage pun filled movie.

Even then, the original Avengers movie doesnt hold up, it feels more like a long 2 hour special show just has the nostalgic factor. Funny thing, the Josstice version had a ton of returning gags and jokes from Avengers 1 & 2......

ZS Justice League was an hour too long but was expected as it was a director cut. Just the Cyborg story and Flash ending alone was better than the whole Josstice League. There was actual teamwork and everyone had a role in this version, the other, everyone was practically useless, Superman did all the work in the end.

Still was torture to watch. Sorry.

Im not brand loyal, but there is not an Avengers universe movie that I wouldn't watch first over JL.

Even Iron Man 3, and that was horrific.

I was also not blown away. The sound intro every time Wonder Woman appeared was very lame. I also did not like the 4:3 format. People argue content would be cropped at the top or bottom if it was widescreen. Well the same argument could be made about the content on the left and right getting cropped. I think they should have shot it in widescreen format because that's the format screens have.

I liked Man of Steel more.

MUST WATCH! I just watched a couple of the trailers, and this will be a must-watch for me. I am, though, disappointed that it's only available in the 4:3 format.
