Wonder how many times he played to get that play-through. LOL.
I never got past the whirlpools part.
I never made it past the drawbridge lol.
Used to have a strip club near me called the Dragon's Lair. Easily the worst one I've ever been to, pregnant chicks and all.
I used to play that and Space Ace all the time.
After many many weeks of spent quarters, I was able to do both start to finish on one life.

It wasn't a cheap game either. Arcades where I grew up in the 80's charged a buck per play.
At the skating rink growing up we had pretty much every arcade game you could think of through the years, but this one I never saw. It may have been before I was born or was old enough to remember, but I don't even remember anyone talking about it. I didn't know about it u til a few years ago.

And thats why I never got good at it, only played it once. That dollar my mom gave me had to last 45 minutes at a minimum.

I LOVED Dragon's Lair. I played it all the time. Took forever but I finally beat it. I was so proud of myself.
