Picked this up yesterday.

Wow, that Amazon price is cray cray.
I paid under $100 at Wally World

I'm 1 for 1 so far. That ****er was shaking like a leaf on a tree after I nailed it. He eventually slithered away under the picket fence. He sure as hell wasn't walking.

I went to walmart to grab one of these. My wife wanted to grab a bite and I replied "Sorry but I have to go to walmart and buy a pellet gun so I can shoot squirrels." She said "cool, want me to grab you something?" Goddam she is a good woman.

In any event, my local walmart only had a ruger in 22. I skipped it, there is probably no difference with just lighting them up with 22 lr.

I'm pretty impressed by this thing. Bought some different pellets (Crossman Fast Flight) and they went through the side of an old metal filing cabinet I was throwing out. I used standard pellets and they put a good dent, but no hole. Haven't tried the new pellets on a squirrel yet.

I've taken out 3 squirrels on 4 shots, so I'd say it's pretty accurate.
Keep an eye on the stock on the WM website. For $100 it's a lot of fun.

Had a yuuuuge squirrel problem in the city. ****ing old lady next door was feeding them peanuts. These ****ers were destroying my yard, gnawing all the bark off my trees, shitting everywhere, and chewing on cables.

Had to go nuclear, so I bought a tube trap. Killed 35 squirrels. Caught one skunk, but he didn't die, and had to creatively get rid of it. That's a crazy story in of itself... Use peanut butter, to glue peanuts to the bait tray. Worked great!

Technically they are a game animal so you have to be careful. There is room in the law for controlling them if they are a nuisance to property or person. I have a video of it in action. It was hard not to laugh when I was filming it though!

Totally worth it and discrete. However you have to be willing to pull dead squirrels out of the trap by the tail. No blood or guts though.

My .22 air rifle needs to be sighted in. Last year I was taking them out regularly, but I've missed like 10 shots at about 15 yards already this year. That's unacceptable. Oddly enough, the most effective squirrel gun I've used was a Crossman pump master 760 with .177 pellets. I was dropping squirrels running in the trees with that thing. I only got the .22 because I thought it'd be capable of taking other varmints that were larger. Even with my .22, I still have to deliver a coup de gras on most of them. Rabbits are easier to kill, squirrels can be difficult targets.

That tube trap is nice! Here's a video the goes into detail as to how it works.

And another trap, the GoodNature A18. WARNING - DO NOT WATCH if you object to animal pests being humanely euthinized.

And, of course, plinking!
WARNING - DO NOT WATCH if you don't want to see squirrel lethal head-shots.

Two obvious problems, for me, using an air rifle. I had houses and cars in the background, and it's a huge time waster. The trap works 24/7

I agree. We have a public walking/biking path about 50 ft. from our rear tree line. That made me worry about using an airgun. I like that A18 in my previous post. Kills them instantly and one trap can kill a few squirrels in the same day without having to empty anything as with the tube trap.

havent tried those but I have no luck with the Winchester rounded ones. Can’t get them to group well. They are very light it might have something to do with it, or maybe my gun just doesn’t like them. The Premiere pellets also don’t fit my gun, can’t put them in. The other ones with a small BB were gamo brand I believe, bought them with my gun. They worked well but they seemed like a gimmick.

I use a .17 HMR on 'em but this would be more fun!! ;):):D

That reminded me of how we used to catch mice on the flight line. We'd put some food in an empty gatorade bottle with a string around the top. When they went in we'd snatch it up. Word to the wise: when you freeze a mouse in liquid oxygen and shatter it like the T-1000, it's best to clean it up right away before it thaws. Lol

Also, I trapped another of my neighbor's cats tonight. I'm sure the coyotes 20 miles away will appreciate my donation to their cause.

22 short shot.
Super quiet and effective.
Sounds like a little bottle rocket.

Animal trap with peanut butter. Then drown the ****ers in a bucket of water.

I hate squirrels. Luckily AZ doesn't have any.
Just coyotes and scorpions LOL. still not bad tho.
