Put air in the tires, get the old gas out, put a new battery in it, start the engine and get it warm, change the oil, change the coolant and then take it take it for a drive to find issues.

New tires will be needed if you plan on any spirited or longer distant driving.

Maybe take out the plugs and top lube the cylinders too. Inspect all the auxiliary rubber for dry rot.....upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses, vacuum hoses and elbows, belts, etc. When you drive it, bring your tools with you.

Your saying that car has not run since 2008? I would change the oil first. Just use conventional 5-30/filter and get that old oil out. There bound to be moisture build-up from condensation after years of sitting. Get the fuel out of the tank and change the fuel filter and get some fresh 91/93 gas in it. Pull the plugs and put a little oil on top of the pistons. Make sure the battery is strong. Pull the fuel pump fuse and do a couple sets of cranking the car. The car won't crank but it should throw some oil up on top of the heads. Put the fuse in and give it a try. Run it through a couples heat cycles, maybe drive it a little (unless the tires are toast). Then change the oil/filter again. Put some synthetic of your choice in it.

Yes, sat in the garage. Funny what starting a family will do to cars.

Pushed it out of the garage. I blew up the blower, thats the main reason it has been sitting there. I have a v1 t trim now. Im talking with vortech to see how much they will charge to repair. I also like the V3 blowers..

I'm really curious now. lol. How does one blow up a blower? I'm running a V1 s trim.
I just got my RMA from Vortech, so ill soon know what happened. My guess is the bearings gave out causing the impeller wobble that rubbed it into the housing. I can grab the center screw that holds the impeller on and it wiggles. One of the fins on the impeller is chipped too.

I kinda wanna go with the V3 or a YSI if my current blower is toast.

Yea I got to thinking about it the day after I posted the question. Then I remembered a few years back a guy was road testing his fresh built Vortech setup. He was driving it with no filter when I pebble found its way into the blower. It looked like a little bomb went off in the volute. But as mentioned, overspinning and surge could certainly do it too.

ordered the v2 ti blower :0) ordered some new drilled and slotted rotters, pads, eat. Gonna get a new battery soon. Start taking the fluids out, saw this video where a guy used oil fogger to spray down the plug holes, gonna try that. ..also looking at new wheels...like some 17x10s and some skinnies up front. Starting to get excited.

Are you going to paint the calipers? That would enhance the look of the new drilled/slotted rotors.
