I once told my wife I wanted a new barrel for one of my rifles in return for doing some project for her. She looked stunned and I said, "Trading work for sex with you is like trading land for peace with Yasser Arafat."
Another time I called a short-lived, left-leaning radio talk show. They were discussing the latest turmoil in the Middle East. I asked where Arafat was in all this, pointing out that we hadn't hear anything out of him. The female host, all snotty, says in her British accent, "Well, he is dead, isn't he?" I said, I know, I just like hearing it.
The same show was discussing a poll taken in Iraq, about a year after out initial invasion, indicating 60% of Iraqis were cool with attacking Americans and asking what we should do about it. My suggestion was to kill 60% of Iraqis and take another poll.
