I have done my homework and watched the recent auctions. I attended the recent Amelia Island events.

I think the Cobra R cars will go higher. I talked to one buyer that had posters on his bedroom wall in 2000. He later cashed out with a few million on his internet business. $100,000 is chump change for him.

I wish I could afford one, outside of the 08 Roush P51 Signature Series, it’s my favorite modern mustang.

With this recent price surge I have a feeling we will see many more come to market. With that said I think a lot more of these things will become garage queens as currents owners see the prices tick up and have 2nd thoughts about adding miles. This is to be expected at the 20 year mark as this is when most unique cars become high dollar collector cars.

Based on the recent auctions I've watched on TV, there's a lot of money out there on the buyer side.

My 76 highboy is in terminator territory as far as value , so I would agree , the older cars and trucks are growing in value. Or there are a lot of dumb asses , paying way too much for junk

Many have been collecting money for the last year and not able to spend it, travel, go out, etc. They are sitting on piles of money they previously never accumulated. They should be paying off their house. Instead, they are spending it on cars they previously dreamt of.

I bought my current two cars before the China Virus thing.

I was too stupid to buy last year. Now, in 2021, the market got hot.

A nice 2020 Shelby GT350 R went for $90,000 in AZ
A nice 1970 Mustang Mach 1 Twister did $99,000.
A nice 2009 Shelby GT500 KR did $60,500.
A nice 1966 Shelby Cobra Super Snake did $5,500,000. All in AZ.

I think the auction numbers at Amelia will be hot as well (I didn't attend them). I did see many new Ford GT's driving around.

Yes, I did get in with a 2020 Porsche:
