Until the next rolling blackout! Fossil fuels FTW! Other means of energy have been proven to not meet the demand. Green is a joke.

Green is no where near as efficient as fossil fuels, period. That is an accepted fact of life. Going all electric on everything will put an incredible demand on fossil fuels, LOL. Yeah, I drive a fossil fuel powered electric car, I am helping the environment. Where do people think electricity comes from? In America, I think the latest percentage is, 5-8% of our energy comes from renewable "green" energy. Could be wrong though. It's under 10%. Also, maintaining the "green" energy is expensive, both environmentally and financially. Fat-boy Michael "I'm a lying piece of shit" Moore released a documentary about the bullshit propaganda "green" energy and no one touched it with a 50 foot pole, LOL.

Dodge is going to need to figure out how to not make a car automatically weigh 4-5k lbs first.

Believe it when I see it. They're too busy changing their name to actually engineer anything new that doesn't involve a hellcat motor.

I agree, Dodge hasn't had anything new since 2013 with the Viper and Dart, both were utter failures.

Sales wise the Viper was a failure. Performance wise, the Viper punched way above its weight.

The Dart was pure aids though. I agree that Dodge's current lineup is super dated. You can compare their lineup from 2014 to 2022 and its almost identical

I love this whole "electric is the future" bullshit. Oh really, tell me how that would be working out right now if 10% or 20% of the cars in Texas were EV. People who think that either no idea the condition of our existing grid or how long it would take to get it to accommodate the load of even a small incremental increase in EV's, or they live in blue states and think la-la thoughts.

This!!! The grid couldn't handle the demand and will take decades of building power infrastructure to get there. There are literally going to be blackouts in California and possible outages in Texas this summer. How much lithium will the Chinese and others have to strip mine to meet the demand of putting these in everyone's driveway? Unless there is a massive advance in battery tech, away from lithium cells, just don't see this being feasible. I could see hybrid electrics and cleaner ICE engines being the way.

Isn’t China the leading producer of lithium batteries? Sounds verrryyy ironic that xiden is in office killing Trumps oil plans for all electric everything…

That's the thing, the powers that be want to remove personal vehicle ownership from everyone's driveways. What better way to be able to control populace than being able to limit personal movement. Make cost of ownership and charging/fueling up so high nobody wants to buy cars anymore. Economically force everyone into public mass transit, but limit how much they can use a day or who can access it (vax passport style). Boom.

I wish I was born in the 40's and was dead already and got to see and live in America at its utmost peak.

They own land in Africa and use the locals to mine it. They are the top dog in the industry.

Several African countries have traded oil and other natural resources to the Chinese to build infrastructure like highways, hospitals, refineries etc… and all have regretted these deals.. the Chinese refuse to use local labor and everything they build is falling apart. The only thing the Chinese have built that has lasted is COVID-19..
