This guy was a bad ass. Intimidating presence. Very intelligent as well.

He’s one of the guys you never think about until news like this hits, then you fondly remember them very well. Great roles and a great actor.

He did. He was a very accomplished boxer and bodybuilder. Spoke several languages as well. Bruce Lee handpicked him to be in Enter the Dragon but the part went to John Saxon since Smith was working on a movie that ran over schedule. Would have been awesome to see him and Bolo fighting onscreen.

I will always remember him from the Eastwood flick Any Which Way u Can with his then GF who played in several movies with him. 88 is a full long life..... RIP.
