I almost passed out yesterday, was petting my dog for a minute and when I stood up my vision went 95% white and I lost my balance. Thankfully I was next to the couch and went for it. Didn’t lose consciousness, but I felt damn close. Been checking my BP pretty regularly and it has generally been in the 120/62 range with all these meds when it was generally 135/80 prior to the heart attack. After that incident yesterday, I checked my BP and it was 107/60. The Docs didn’t seem to concerned when I told them how easily I was getting light headed and vision going white. I guess it is to be expected with all the meds I’m on for the stent I got.

Normally not this open on the internet…but being alone at the house is driving me bonkers.

Everyone is different, but yeah that would be low for me too. I lived with elevated pressure for years with no meds because that's what was advised. The day I got out I needed sun glasses and if got up fast I would have a light flush in my head. I was insistent with the home care nurse that it wasn't right. After my first return cardiologist appointment they cut in half and discontinued an other. Write your pressure down right when you sit up from bed and breathe some good breath to relax. Then take your pressure before you eat your dinner. It gives them a good read on your new normal. Get a Omron BP from Walmart. You got this!

this is why I’m open here.

after moving to Texas where I know NOBODY.. alone gets old real quick.

I contribute my existence today on first hand conversations with seniors on a regular basis, who have knowledge on this stuff.

It was all stuffed away in my subconscious, but when it started I knew what was happening. Most ignore the symptoms and wind up dead. There is a reason they call it the widow maker.

I'm glad to share info, in hope that someone else may benefit as I have.

Being alone can drive you up the wall, if you let it, but don't rush meeting someone based on loneliness. The best advice I got was from @MG0h3 , don't be afraid to go eat dinner alone, go to a bar alone etc...I am still getting used to it, having my pitbull helps.

Long story short, she shutdown emotionally. She would essentially ignore me while I was trying to talk to her (would be playing some dumb ass game on her phone), so I would go out to the garage to drink instead of being ignored. Eventually I got tired of this arrangement and confronted her about it. She filed for divorce while I was in the hospital after my heart attack…lol

yes and no.

I end up at bars 5 days a week.. simply due to not wanting to be at my house alone. That shit gets old too

I’m betting her excuse is the dudes were abusive blah blah. We all know where the fault lies. Sadly those same girls will say I don’t want to date a guy with kids.

You know why? Because she is a **** and puts her children’s father/exes through hell herself so assumes yours does to. Major red flags all around.

You can either love women or understand them. Once you understand them, you will never love them.

We all need to remember that every party is in a relationship because it benefits them.

Business, romance, friendships….doesn’t matter. Once the relationship isn’t beneficial, you look to improve your situation. As everyone should.
