On an otherwise stock car, which one is louder? And which one sounds better.. I'm trying to decide if I should wait a month for the Corsas to be built or go for the Ataks.. will be keeping the stock H pipe.

Here is my 2012 Shelby GT500 with borla ATAK axleback , best mod i have ever done to my car. Can't stop smiling every time i start the car on cold start or just idle 
no drone and it's quite when you cruise , and then you wake up the city when you go on WOT. It's deep muscle sound and loud. Just perfection in my opinion.
Haven't listen to Corsa extreme though in person so can't comment on that one.

yes , everything is stock. Just axleback is changed.

The popping and gurgling is more in the tune than the exhaust.The corsa's sound warmer for sure I like that.

Roger that. Well assuming the tune is the same would you say they come through better on the borlas? I feel like they have more presence (2.5khz) in them..
The Borla ATAKs sound good, I think you'll be happy with either.
There are so many exhaust options and mods that affect the sound, so it is not uncommon to pick a setup that ends up not being exactly what you’re looking for. Asking advice and watching videos is definitely a help, but in the end you’ll pick a choice and hope it works for you. I hope you end up loving what you pick.

You will be satisfied without a doubt. Borla ATAK sounds great on stock system.
Only time it sounds bad in my opinion from videos is when it's combined with x-pipe. Too much raspy.

Literally anything but those two specific products. Not all loud sounds from a GT500 is a good sound. Put an offroad H pipe and keep the stock mufflers and it'll sound phenomenal. If you want better 4" tips, just add them on. $1000 for axle backs is a bit silly
That was my original idea. Trust me I love the stock mufflers but they are too quiet with the stock H. But california is a bitch if you get caught without cats. At least if these axlebacks are too loud I can swap back to stock and its a fix it ticket not a state ref

One of the big issues is you can't find off road X-pipes or H-pipes anymore. The EPA screwed that up for all of us. But I do agree with you, a OFR X-pipe and stock mufflers sound great.
