Congratulations on your shop! How is the insurance on renting lifts and a dyno? I would assume that you would need quite a bit of liability insurance.

Dream come true for you. Congratulations!

I have the same insurance liability question. And does the insurance policy state customer restrictions around the dyno? Just curious.

I’m located in Star Prairie Wi. Insurance isn’t too bad. It’s pretty much a standard auto shop policy. We also have a liability waiver that has to be signed. In Wisconsin the waiver has to be pretty specific to hold up. However there’s always ways around waivers etc…

Decent website.

The first thing that popped up was some cookies agreement which I personally find very annoying. I usually close any websites that make me accept that but I continued knowing it was for your business.

Do you have any information on your specific dyno setup in terms of model, etc.? Does your dyno allow all vehicles (diesels, etc?). I would add more clear pictures of the setup, what the computer set up/read outs look like, a video of a car or two on it, etc.

A better picture/more pictures of what your hourly bays look like. What does the work area look like? Is it clean? etc. Actually, pictures of your whole facility and set up would be nice. The pictures on the about you section do not paint an inviting atmosphere as it appears to be very unorganized and there is crap laying all over in the background.

The about you section could use some actual information about you, back ground, vehicles, etc.

Just some thoughts.

Ya the cookies thing is annoying. It’s a go daddy thing so it won’t let me turn it off. I’m not a fan of it either. I’ll be posting the dyno info as soon as I can. It’s a Mustang 250 dyno. Still working on the shop bays, doing insulation etc so when that is done I’ll be adding some photos. Right now it looks like a insulation bomb went off in it. I appreciate the feedback!

Looking great!

Why not include the strap down fee in the price instead of an add on? Unless you are willing to let them strap their own car down. I could see someone trying to avoid paying the fee and arguing that they would strap their own car down.

Also, maybe do a higher fee for the first hour and get less expensive for the next few hours.
