In today’s used car market, I’m not surprised. That’s serious money.

Yup. Makes it tough to buy anything right now.

I have my eyes on a few cars I'd like.

The wife wants a foxbody vert. People want crazy money for those. And they are the least desirable foxbody.

I'd like a clean 92-93 GT. Those are crazy money.

Or a 93 cobra in teal. Better fork out 30k+.

I'm not a vert guy, but I've even considered a 04 cobra vert. Mostly in stock condition.

And I've always liked the 87 Buick Grand National. Those are expensive, but I think it would be sweet to have!

I've never had anything other than Ford's.

I want one of these so bad but I'm priced out and I don't think these will go down anymore.
Yeah me too. I'm watching a few on eBay. I don't have the funds for one right now. I don't even care if it has higher miles, as long it's in great condition.

Ebay and BAT prices will end up going higher due to the exposure. If you haven't look at Autotrader, FB Market place, here on SVTP, FB Cobra for sale groups.

Exposure, and to some degree, increased seller fees on eBay. I just sold a MacBook Pro computer for $1,749 and the eBay fee was 12.55% ($220)! They must have increased the final value fee rates recently. Which is why I rarely any longer sell anything of value on eBay.

Yes, they are. Final Value fees used to be 10%. Now anything under $7500 (with few exceptions) is 12.55%. When eBay made the announcement that they were moving from PayPal to Ebay Managed Payments, they stated that the overall fees were reduced by about $0.10 per transaction, compared to the prior eBay/PayPal fees. A couple of months later, eBay then quietly increased their Final Payment fee from 10% to 12.55%. Bait and switch!

Meanwhile, PayPal just increased their fees, too. Digital payments went from 2.90% plus $0.30 to 3.49% (20% increase) plus $0.49 (65% increase). For a lower cost online seller like me, that equates to an overall per gasket kit PayPal payment fee of about $35%! I need to consider another payment gateway option, but I wouldn't be surprised to see credit card payments systems enact similar increases in short time.
