Yep. Only issue I saw was that it's the wide ratio. Probably ok for a turbo setup though.
Wouldn't it be close ratio with a 2.97 1st? I would like a viper spec 5th and 6th though for a better hwy car. What are the cobra's 5th & 6th gear ratio vs the viper's 5th & 6th? Are we talking 2k RPM at 85mph or thereabouts?

Ford T56
2.97/2.07/1.43/1.00/.80/.62

Viper T56
2.66/1.78/1.30/1.00/.74/.50

It would be to hard for me to say what your rpm would be without knowing your rear gear ratio but it is a noticeable drop in highway rpm with the same gear ratio.

So lets say we take the same exact setup just the different 6th gear ratio.

Rear Gear: 3.73
Tire Height: 28inch tall
Speed: 85 MPH

With the viper spec you should be sitting at 1900 rpm

With the ford spec you should be sitting at 2360 rpm

Again trying to keep all things equal. I realize most people don't run a 28in tall tire on the street etc either.

The closer 1st gear is to 1 to 1 (4th gear, no od's included), the closer/shorter the gear spread (rpm drop between shifts), 2.66 is closer to 1 to 1 than 2.97.........

In the "old world", a 2.32 top loader is close ratio, a 2.78 is wide ratio, same rules apply.
