I can typically but not with 315s on the back and summer performance tires. What's more comical is when you southerners actually try. Hell, these people down here put their flasher on in the rain.

That is a fact! lol.

The problem children are on the eastern end of the state where it rarely does this. Those of us from the Northwest mountains grew up with it so we do know how to drive in it. IE, don't. :)

4* / -3* wind chill
Forecast changed from 3 - 5, revised to 1 - 3", not a lot for N.J.
The snow changing to rain, changing to snow mixed with sleet & ice sounds interesting..

We're only getting 1" - 3" of snow as well, according to this morning's forecast. Overnight it will start and become an icy mix. before changing over to all rain, and tapering off tomorrow morning. All rain tomorrow morning and then tapering off.

This AM prob about 4 to 5" but sleet has been falling since so it should get interesting this afternoon - only had it in 4wd to get out of my driveway this morning while going to eat after that back to normal.

So far probably around 4” of snow at my house followed by sleet for the last few hours and still going. Don’t see any freezing rain that I can tell yet which is a good sign.

Been out playing in the jeep, didn't get near the 24 inches called for.

The real question is why does everybody in the south run out and buy all of the milk and bread? If I'm thinking i will be stuck at home i want something better than this to eat. For the record yes I'm southern born and raised so i can make fun of us lol. BTW

SHOdown220 hope you don't lose power but with the ice and wind its not sounding good, we have about the same forecast.

The milk and bread makes some sense. What I have never figured out is the toilet paper! I remember living in Winston Salem and we'd get the warning for a major winter storm (up to 3" oh my God!) and if I happened to go to the store to pick up something I'd see people with 2 shopping carts and a case or two of toilet paper in one and gallons of milk and dozens of loaves of bread in the other.

Who needs that much toilet paper? And if you do, you need to go see your doctor.

It has been hovering around 0*F for the last two days with 4" on the ground for the last week plus. Supposed to get 6-10" of snow early tomorrow but warm up to 43*F by 4:00 p.m.

Woke up to 38* with rain, big difference from yesterday's 4*.
My backup generator went off @ 3:35 am, but only ran a few minutes.
News reports thousands without power across several states, N.J. dodges a bullet again.
If I had to guess, maybe 1 1/2" fell, better than the 15+ in NC..

Hope everyone stays warm and safe, CA may suck but one thing the Libs can’t **** up is the weather. At least not yet anyway.

Snowed a little more this morning but not enough to really add much. Ended up with about 4” of snow covered up with probably 1” of sleet. No power outages in this area thankfully. Snow is packed down pretty tight with the sleet, most likely can’t get out of my steep driveway but haven’t tried. Little angry the awd pilot we bought back in the fall
Is in the body shop, stuck with a 2wd rental.

As expected no one has plowed roads yet and with no salt on them either they are solid ice.

I thought maybe the "is" was "isn't". Isn't (or wasn't) would totally make sense. Maybe it's time for at least one new/newer snowmobile. LOL.
