I've had Grasshoppers in the past. Just sold my 725D in October, moved into a neighborhood and didn't need it anymore. After push mowing my 1/3rd acre lot a dozen times, I'm tired of it.

I'm planning on buying a SCAG V-Ride II with a 52" deck and 23hp Kawasaki engine...unless you guys have better suggestions.

Never owned a SCAG, but everyone I know that does or has swears by them. Their cut looks really nice and crisp. I want a stand on because I have a very steep hill on the back part of my property and I think a sit down would very quickly slide to the bottom. The stand on seems to have a little better leverage.

Definitely open for opinions though :)

Three Skags in the family lawn cutting arsenal. All tanks that get the job done very well.

I've been pushing for 18yrs

1 1/2 arces ..

Finally got a zero turn.
Last summer at the end.
Lowes had a major sale

I got the Arians apex 52.

Was 5300 and was tagged 3200.

It's extremely over kill but sure beats pushing.
Kawasaki 23hp
5 in tall 10guage steel deck.
Over sized wheels ..

I'm at 14hrs running so hard to give a review.

I have a SCAG 48”
Zero turn. It’s a great mower but will
Beat your back up.
I love my Ferris stand on zero turn better.

I worked for a landscaper for two summers during college and they had Gravely mowers. They swore by them. That was in the 80s though. Can't comment on their current quality. Gravely Lawn Mowers | Commercial Lawn Mowers, Commercial Zero Turn Mower, Atlas JSV

Did the same not too long ago in college, buddy owns a company. Used a lot of Wright standers, seemed pretty bullet proof all day 7 days a week. Pretty much any commercial mower will last a lifetime for personal use on OP's scale.

eXmark or go home - their decks stripe like crazy. Love my 60” Radius E series, on the low end of commercial stuff but I only have maybe 1/2 acre of grass so it’s super overkill but does an amazing job of making things look nice.
