Those are might nice suspension upgrades. I want to see a video of your face the first time you take it out after those mods. (y)

When you're done with the brake and future mods, your Cobra is going to be incredible compared to what it was from the factory. You've got a lot to look forward to.

I'm definitely excited for the transformation. One thing I wish I could find is a 2000 Cobra R steering rack. I know AGR makes one but I haven't see too many good things about their units.

My buddy cleaned her up over the weekend and put a few miles on her.

Most of the front is done. Maximum motorsports bolt through bump steer kit, maximum motorsports oil filter relocation , sway bar end links, and sway bar bushings are left. The Maximum Motorsports stickers will be removed. I am not a big sticker guy. Then it's on to the rear. The 6 piston Brembos are going to be last until I get back early next month so I can coat them in CarPro Delux and Gliss.

Next weekend the Full Tilt Boogie Racing rear end parts and Stifler's chassis stiffening system all go in.

Of course the alignment is going to need some serious work. Turns out when you replace all of the front suspension the alignment is not great. The OCD is running rabid since there are old parts like the steering rack and sway bar mixed in with new parts. I am going to do some research on what options are out there to replace them. If you have any recommendations please let me know.

I am back stateside as of about a month ago. I was visiting family, and working on the Cobra suspension and brakes setup with my buddy who is taking lead on the install.

The rear end is buttoned up. Everything from the Full Tilt Boogie Racing catalog went into the rear to include new hardware and seals. I also replaced the rear calipers with gloss black calipers from LMR.

I coated the front and rear calipers along with rotor hats in CarPro Delux (two coats) and Gliss (one coat). The 6 piston Brembo calipers are absolutely insane in person to see.

The car should be done in the next month or so. After everything is buttoned up and aligned. I'm absolutely stoked to drive the car after a long year plus away. I only got to do about 150 miles on the new blower setup so this should be a completely different car compared to what I am use to from before the blower upgrade.

Welcome Back!!! This is one heck of a build and I am excited to follow more progress! Hope you are enjoying being back with the car!
Thank you so much! I am hoping to wind up with one of the top tier Cobras out there. It was nice to be back with the car for a bit but I made my move to Vegas and the car is not quite ready yet. My buddy will be finishing up the build by topping it off with the front Brembo install and all of the chassis stiffening stuff from Stifflers. I got every piece they make for our cars.

Also if anyone has tips on how to adjust camber more on the KW V3s let me know. You can't run CC plates on them sadly.

You definitely will man and I hope to be in that group myself. My cobra is going to be finished here within the next couple weeks after being down for over 2 years. Low mile car going from stock motor/ ported blower to built motor by L&M/ 3.0 Whipple with all new fuel, rear end, cooling, etc. Everything is powder coated or polished. New wheels and brakes, you name it. Now I'm drooling over the DD-EFI for the MS3 setup (dash like the new GT500 for our cars, with all the gauges you could ever think of represented digitally). Here's to our endless money pits lol.
