Av3ng3d, you are a good man. I have older siblings and saw how marriage went for them, so I took preventative action by stocking up prior to my wedding. I went into it with 3 Mustangs and 3 motorcycles. The fact that I also bought my wife a big (IMO) diamond ring and paid for most of our ceremony at a place of her choice went a long way. My only regret is not buying a boat too.

In all seriousness, I would increase the price of your Cobra by $10K and convince your fiance that you're making a good-faith effort to sell it. Borrow money or figure out some other way to cover the wedding... It will be hard to replace the car and you certainly don't want to enter your marriage with any sense of resentment!

Holy Crap $10,000 for an entire wedding?
I’m spending $15,000 for just the venue alone and that was one of the cheapest places we could find.

Massachusetts sucks.
Yeah man. Small wedding of 80 people. It was 3 apartments side by side with each where the immediate families stayed. Walked outside and the wedding was right outside on a small section of the beach in Tampa. Couldn’t have been happier with how it all turned out and people still talk about it to this day 4 years later.

@68gtscode Thank You!
I can’t even get it sold at this price so I don’t think I’ll have to increase the price any to keep it lol!
A lot of guys even on the Facebook pages are having issues moving their Cobras right now which is understandable given the economy and the fact that not everyone has $35,000 just kicking around to spend on a 20 year old car that’ll be used for nothing but a weekend enjoyment.

I’ll likely end up having to keep it because I won’t be willing to go down to the price it would take to sell it quickly.
If I didn’t have the amount of money invested in it that I do then it would be an easier sale, but there’s simply just too much invested at this point. I can’t allow myself to go lower. It’s the perfect car for someone who wants something with the mods already done but a lot of people do prefer super low mileage and one that is closer to stock.
My car has 80k and that keeps those people who are concerned about mileage away… which I understand. But for someone like me, I didn’t buy a terminator to collect, I got into these cars for the capabilities of what they have to offer without the need to open up the engine for a rebuild to handle power. To me that was the main draw to these cars.

Not trying to be rude, but I always thought the bride's parents foot the bill. If they're unwilling or unable, then there's your answer. If they've passed then it may be a different situation. My first wife passed 10 years ago. We were married for almost 30 years and had a JOP ceremony. My current Fiancé and I will also do JOP. 140 bucks out the door. Keep the car.

I whole heartedly do, however I just put a down payment on a wedding reception venue this past Tuesday so if I can get the money for it then I will have to let it go.
Dude....don't sell the car to pay for a wedding wth!?? If she's with you 100% she won't allow you to sell your toy for a wedding! ‍...but to each their own..you'll regret selling this thing...glws someone is getting a turnkey monster.
