We have an obligation them to help them in my humble opinion.

A better argument would have been the money thrown at student loan forgiveness, but I really want to keep politics out of this thread. Absolutely no need for it.

Thanks.
Since you DID bring politics into the thread.....we have a GREATER obligation to take care of our OWN!

prayers to those in the storms path.

On the bright side know that you were a part of history as this was the first named hurricane with they/them pronouns.

Its about equity, yall

Well ya, hurricanes are racist. They leave white people alone and only attack minorities. Once we start giving hurricanes african names then they will treat people of all races equally. Hurricane Tyquan would never target black people like that racist Ian did.

Well guys this is something I never want to go through or experience again. Our peak winds reached 140mph . We're all OK that's the most important thing. My house took a good hit but nothing that's not repairable. I need a new roof, pool cage most likely needs to be replaced, vinyl fence needs to be replaced, my wife's car got a good scratch in the windshield that will have to replaced. So glad everything with my house is category 5 rated. Still have no electricity could be weeks or more they said. Water just came on today but still have to boil. Again main thing is we're all sill here.

Thanks for checking in. Sounds like you are optimistic. Happy to hear that you and your family are ok.
