An Australian court has blocked a proposal for a huge coal mine, saying the emissions produced by the fuel would threaten human rights.

Born with knees that bend the wrong way.

Born with two pelvises and 4 legs. No, I don't know the answer to the most obvious question...View attachment 1771491View attachment 1771492

Reminds me of a movie made back in '32, called "Freaks". It's been on TCM, thats where I saw it. Good movie, critical message.

Story:
When trapeze artist Cleopatra (Olga Baclanova) learns that circus midget Hans (Harry Earles) has an inheritance, she marries the lovesick, diminutive performer, all the while planning to steal his fortune and run off with her lover, strong man Hercules (Henry Victor). When Hans' friends and fellow performers discover what is going on, they band together and carry out a brutal revenge that leaves Hercules and Cleopatra knowing what it truly means to be a "freak."

Interesting how it was shunned and cut in length before it came out, to being preserved in the national film registry in 1994.

Here's the trailer:

"The film has been highly influential, has become a cult classic, and, in 1994, was selected for preservation by the United States National Film Registry, which seeks to preserve films that are "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant"."

^^^Some of those remind of that show that runs on one of the channels "Abandoned Places." Love that show and ones like it. I sometimes end up in a rabbit hole watching stuff like that on You Tube.
I get into the abandoned mansions of drug Lords. Some cool stuff
