  • Thanks Bob,
I already have all my visual stuff ie: black17x10.5 cobra wheels wrapped in 315 nittos, also its lowered and has caster/camber plates. I have matte black inserts and third break light says terminator when u hit the brake. i did the front breaks already as well. what i was wanting to know is bolt on engine mods ie: mass air, throttle body, injectors, headers, stuff like that or just the pulley swap would be good enough. my goal is to have a high 11's street car to have fun with. i have an aftermarket boost guage and dual pod gauge kit, just need a wide band air/fuel. any and all opinions are welcome. Thanks!
Hi Brad. It depends on your budget & goals. If you're interested in visual mods, then the common ones would be wheels, lowering springs, rear bumper inserts and maybe a brake package from Brembo or Baer. Lowering springs would be my first recommendation as they give the car a much nicer stance (and get rid of the dreaded 4X4 look), but will make the car handle a bit better. Welded-in full length sub-frame connector stiffen the frame (especially with a convertible).

If you're noticing any noise through the shifter, I highly recommend you buy one of my shifter gasket kits. Inexpensive, easy to install, and they work.

You might want to put an aftermarket boost gauge on your list, or buy Ray Hinton's boost gauge overlay. You'll need either one with a smaller upper pulley because the stock gauge only reads to 10 lbs.

    Hope this info helps you.

    Bob
