Hi, your s281e hood is an excellent modification. Very mean, clean, and polished. Great choice/work.
I need to get a new hood for my current engine build as the factory 03 cobra hood simply sumps in too deep to clear my fr500c intake manifold.
While searching, I saw your hood and was very impressed.
I've looked around and found a fiberglass (or carbon fiber-but $1200 for 6lbs is not enough value for me) version of the s281e hood through Trufiber. I am not sure if it is designed for 03 cobra bumpers though...
Quick questions:
-which manufacturer of hood do you have?
-did you have to modify the hood or the front bumper to get such clean/minimal panel gaps?
-are you running a factory 03 cobra bumper or an 03 cobra bumper designed for a v6/gt (taller grill profile iirc)
Thanks for any help/feedback! I'm basically trying to make sure the grill surrounds will mount fleshly with the hood. I have a factory 2003 cobra bumper.
