I'm not a dealer. I suspect they've depleted existing stock. I thought the deep discount was to clear out existing stock for the Gen 5. This is just a guess on my part, Lethal should be able to tell you.
Hi Catmonkey - Thanks for taking the time to advise me here! I am kind of lost with this stuff...I've never even plugged in my tuner. I will this weekend though. Thanks, Ted
Hey man was just reading through the forums and saw you referencing the L&M 72mm tb and was wondering who tuned your car. I just randomly picked one up and had a bunch of issues with surging and lights coming on. I'm on the stock elbow unported and just was reading that may be an issue?

It's VMP's 72mm throttle body. BJ McCarty with VMP can write a tune for it. Not sure why that throttle body would be that different from theirs. You might want to call BJ and see what he has to say.

I talked to BJ on here after the install and they just flat out told me they wouldn't tune an L&M TB... no real explanation at all... Im wondering if the car just needs the elbow and a couple of data log sessions...

I know there is considerable effort to tune a larger throttle body and many tuners don't want to invest the time to do it from scratch because they can't get their time investment out of it. I see a lot of L&M TBs go up for sale because of that. It would be another thing if L&M had a value file to work with their TB, similar to what Ford Performance does with it's aftermarket throttle bodies.
Thanks so much. I will be following your 325/30 experiment very closely on the other forum. What are the " road manners " of the 285's on the street compared to the 255's. I will be moving next year to Ontario, Canada and much better roads.
I enjoy following your posts. Honest and informative.

I have a 2011 gt 500 with 19" base wheels. I want to widen the rear wheels from 9.5 to 11" and install 305/35 mpss. I plan to put 275/35 mpss on the front 9.5 rims. My suspension mods will soon include the cortex extreme grip package with the torque arm. I plan to track the car on road courses 3 or 4 times a year. The tires have a height difference of approximately .88". I would appreciate your feedback.
