I think the next step before warranty runs out is require the head unit/APM to be fully replaced with whatever the updated part is. They have flashed the thing 5x at this point with no fix to the screen lag, intermittent lack of sound and black screen issues.
I dont hate the screen but there...
Two years later and truck is nearly at 36k miles. Only issue so far is the infotainment system screen is still buggy and laggy.
Went and installed a J&L oil separator from Beefcake Racing. Fit and finish is OEM perfect and this will keep some of the oil out of the intake tract. There was...
Dodge blew the name of it but:
Dodge Demon 170 - "DC 170"

0-60 in 1.66sec
60' in 1.20's
Factory order parachute mount
2 piece wheels, center titanium alloy with carbon fiber barrels
Mickey Thompson ET Street factory 315/50R17
Anyone going to watch the "Final Call" Dodge reveal tonight? Should be the public release of the 1000hp+ Challenger. Some are saying its called the Goblin while others are calling it the Demon Redeye.
Wonder what the final name will be and actual horsepower it will produce.
A friend has a private drag strip day on March 30th at MIR and is letting me join. Plan is to skip out on work at 11am or so and head down for some runs with the truck.
Wondering what it will run? Low 13s? Plan is 93 octane tune and 4wd launch from idle.
Im a little worried about the wheel hop...
Radiator replaced and fan wiring harness clips replaced.
Mountune triple pass unit made by CSF. Absolutely flawless in construction and worth the money spent.
New bleed plug installed instead of trying to yank the old one.
New radiator in position.
Fan back in place.
Overall took me 2...
Half way through the radiator replacement. Ran into the clips for the fan wiring harness/hood latch electrical connector. The little christmas tree clips with the zip tie all broke. Anyone know of a part number for them?
I was surprised to see it also.
The people that had headers/mid-pipes w/ or w/o cats didnt seem to have issues at all. Only those with factory items in place with the Whipple and either a Whipple tune or custom tune were the ones having issues. So not directly related to the blower itself or...
I like the two tone. The 20" wheels fit with the red/black combo. Super clean and looks custom. Reminds me of the two tone Typhoon's back in the day.
Id say go Whipple as they make a shit ton of power but the facebook groups keep showing guys blowing engines up even with the stock Whipple tune...
Water wetter but stock thermostat. Going through the replacement before a radiator seemed like a royal pain in the ass.
Car would last 17min before going into limp mode. So i could easily do a 15min session but the longer 20min sessions which i never really had to do in the past would put it...
+1 for Unleashed here on my wifes old Edge Sport with the 2.7 Ecoboost. Once tuned it was a total animal from a dig.
Already scheming to have him tune my wife's 2021 Explorer ST.
OP - truck is awesome. Definitely tune the 2.3L.
Finally got everything sorted hardware wise and started install of these.
TCE Performance brake kit to fit under 15" wheels. Uses alot of Wilwood parts and pieces with their brackets and lines. Fits absolutely perfect under the Dekagrams with room to spare...
Both. Ebay and or Facebook Marketplace. The ones on Ebay are take off wheels from dealerships that customize trucks off the showroom floor. Most have less than 25 miles. The ones i received were pristine with zero wear and they were packaged exceptionally well.
The price shipped for 4 take off...
Contemplating VASFab or Bwoody traction bars. One is a cantilever type front pad versus the other as a regular bar setup.
I had slapper bars on my Lightning which worked fine but i know everyone ran the Stifflers type setup with full bars.
Worried about the NVH with these. Will go with the...
